Please help

I really hate to put this out here and say this but I need help.

Last night while driving my transmission went out on my vehicle and I need it for my job. A replacement is going to cost minimum of $2,000 and a brand new one is as low as 4,000. I am sitting up a GoFundMe and I would very much like your input on this and help if it is possible.
