For the uninitiated, Patreon itself has began cracking down on artists for drawing any content they deem objectionable off-site,which you can read here. If any of this sounds familiar, well it's not the first time I voiced my own concerns. I honestly find this to be very unethical of Patreon to attack a large portion of their base, especially during a global pandemic, an awful recession, and during civil unrest. Just because they're in their legal right to, doesn't mean they're morally correct.
I haven't been asked or targeted yet, but with how things have been going, it's only a matter of time until shit really begins to hit the fan. A lot of my content is vore related, some of which unwilling prey & sometimes even hard vore. According to Patreon's archaic & selective enforcement, that's considered "sexual violence." I tried tying up posts to stay in line in the past, but this is something that can no longer be ignored, especially if they're enforcing content policy off-site. This is my actual job, and I have nothing else (outside of commissions) to sustain myself financially.
Where do I go from here? Well, after running polls on Twitter, as well as engaging in feedback from others, I'll be making a big shift soon. Breakdown:
● I will be closing Patreon on August 3rd.
● Patreon Billing Cycle is "On Pause" for August 1st.
● All of my own personal Patreon memberships are now cancelled.
● I will be migrating to SubscribeStar Adult.
● SubscribeStar will not accept PayPal or Stripe, you'll need a credit or debit card.
● Content from here will be on the new page, along with new content in the future.
● As of typing this, I am still migrating content over to SubscribeStar before I shut down. They have a 10 post daily limit.
● All $4 will be credited in my next short for this month.
● If you wish to support me now, please hold your pledge to me on SubscribeStar until the start of the new month!I have no idea how SubscribeStar billing is handled, but I'm told that the day a patron pledges to a creator is the same day they're charged in the following month, hence why the pledge hold.
I understand by making this move, I will take a financial hit come August. That is why I am going to prepare myself to take a commission or two when the time comes. There's no telling what will happen, but it's better I make this move now before I'm either forced to move by the Trust & Safety team, or the site implodes on itself.
That said, I want to thank all of you for your valued support on this platform for the past five years, especially you Gwen. ♥ Without you guys, I may not even be here today making what I love & learning along the way. I'll gladly keep all of you updated if anything else happens. Until then, do take care of yourselves.
There's been a war against both the free internet as well as content creators specifically in recent years. In the twisted minds of some extremist groups including ones who influence the government, they regard free communications and creativity as a weapon endangering their doctrine. Their end goal is to shut down the free internet and instate some sort of moral police... obviously that will never happen. Hopefully it's gotten to the point where others at least see this, and I'm not regarded as crazy for pointing these things out.
Thanks for sharing, cross-posted my own journal to spread the word. Patreon is a compromised service at this stage... no doubt the same fascists trying to get the government to shut down the free internet have a hand in this and have taken over the service.

Seems like no matter what happens, content creators always get the short end of the stick.

I’m just glad I’m not the only one who sees it.
