"The more that things change, the more they stay the same." That's how the saying goes, and it holds some truth in regards to reversing things. Despite all of the advancements in technologies and kingdom defenses, Vale -along with the other kingdoms- haven't changed at their core all that much in the past few decades. This includes the Huntsmen academies, which held the same purpose of training the next generation of warriors to protect Remnant from those who seek to harm it.
While many vow to uphold their duties and study hard to learn what they can in this prestigious academy, this year in particular Beacon housed a very promising team. This of course referred to Team STRQ, who were first year students which all came from vastly different paths of life.
First there was the brawler of the group, Taiyang Xiao Long, who had very humble origins coming in from the neighboring island of Patch. Growing up within a small community, he was always willing to help others with whatever they needed regardless of how difficult of a task it was. Despite this, he always wanted to see the rest of the world and continue helping others, which is partially why he decided to become a huntsman in training.
Next were the Branwen Twins, Raven and Qrow. Their teammates didn't learn this until recently, but the two of them grew up with bandits for most of their lives. Forced to face the harshness of the world head-on, the two of them had to adapt and learn fast to make the most of their time. Reason why they were enlisted into becoming a huntsman wasn't as noble as some other students, it was mostly out of a need to learn what sort of tricks and skills huntsmen had and use that knowledge to better fend them off once they return to their tribe. Of course, this was a well-kept secret for now as Raven didn't want them to be found out so soon, though given Qrow let slip the former info, it was hard to say how long it would remain a secret.
Last but certainly not least, was the leader of Team STRQ, Summer Rose. Not many knew about her origins, she was a bit of an enigma in that sense, she just appeared one day and ended up making quite the show when she came to Beacon. Much like Taiyang, Summer was one wanting to help people when she could, having a particularly strong sense of purpose in wanting to become a huntress. In some cases, she was compared by some to be like the 'heroes in the books' with how selfless she was. That being said, there was one other aspect of her that was equally well known, that being her mischievous side. Despite her selfless nature, she wasn't above causing a bit of trouble if she saw an opportunity. She also tends to rope in her teammates into these little schemes, which has led to their team landing themselves into more problems than they probably should have.
It was currently a sunny morning, as Beacon students were getting up and preparing for the day ahead of them. Team STRQ were in their dorm room doing miscellaneous things. Taiyang was watering a pot of flowers he had, Raven was reading a textbook intensely, Qrow was sleeping in, and Summer... well...
Nom~ Nom~
Summer Rose was busy indulging herself in some delicious cookies before she glanced to the side and saw Raven reading a book. Curious, she'd gulp the cookie she ate before getting up and sitting next to Raven. "Whatcha readin'?"
Raven didn't respond as she kept reading, though her eyebrows did furrow a bit as she tried to keep her concentration on the book.
Summer would be taken aback slightly by Raven not responding before getting an idea as she'd get up and fetch a cookie before coming back and offering it to her. "Are you hungry?"
"..." Raven didn't verbally respond, but her eyes did look at the cookie briefly before focusing again on her book. Seems she didn't want to be disturbed.
"...If you say so." Summer shrugged before stuffing the cookie in her mouth and gulping it down before looking back at Raven as the redhead would get an idea, getting up from Raven's bed.
Raven would raise an eyebrow at this, as she was at this point used to Summer pestering her to get her attention. So she wasn't expecting her to give up so easily. After a brief pause, she went back to reading, thinking that would be it for now.
Indeed, Raven kept reading her book for a couple more seconds before she saw Summer's head peek above the book with a mischievous smile on her face.
"Leader Hug!" Summer cried out before pouncing on Raven and tackling her into a tight hug.
"WAAAH!!" Raven would be startled by this as Summer tackled her into a hug, which got the attention of Taiyang and woke up Qrow. "Summer! What the hell is wrong with you!?" Raven said with frustration, but didn't do much to push her off.
"Well, you seemed to be ignoring me over that book so I wanted to get your attention." Summer said while still hugging her before looking aside and seeing Qrow awake. "Oh, hehe, good morning Qrow."
"Ugh... Can you not be so loud, I still have this hangover..." Qrow said grumpily.
"Qrow, I thought we've been over this, you're not allowed to drink within the school." Taiyang said to his teammate as he crossed his arms.
"... Heh, who said I was in school when I did?" Qrow said with a smirk, much to Tai's grumbling.
"I swear, you're secretly a Cat Faunus with how you act..." Raven said to Summer.
"Come oooon, everybody likes a hug! You like it too, don't you?" Summer replied before booping Raven on the nose.
Raven would growl in frustration, but the blush she had on her face betrayed her.
Soon enough, the intercoms would flare online before it started to speak. "Attention, would Team STRQ please report to the Headmaster's office? Again, please report to the Headmaster's office."
"Wait, why would he want us to go?" Taiyang said before narrowing his eyes.
All attention would turn towards Summer, as it wasn't the first time she got the group in trouble.
"...What? Why are you looking at me like that?" Summer said before getting off of Raven and on her feet.
"Last time we were called to the office, you and Qrow ended up setting off fireworks within the cafeteria kitchen." Taiyang said with a serious look.
"Heh, that was one crazy evening." Qrow said with a chuckle.
"Hehe, it sure was." Summer giggled before looking nervously at the group and clearing her throat. "B-But it was fun! Right?"
Raven couldn't help but chuckle as she had to agree that it was fun to watch.
Tai sighs a bit before shaking his head. "In any case, we should go see what they want."
"Hopefully it'll be quick, I've heard there's going to be a new game coming out today in Vale." Qrow said as he got off from the bed.
"Oooo, a new game? Heh, I bet I can beat you in it~" Summer said with a grin on her face.
"Heh, you're on." Qrow said as he welcomed the challenge.
"Ahem, let's get moving." Raven said as she was the first one to leave the room.
"Yeah, let's go." Summer nodded before leaving the room, then quickly came back to eat the remaining cookies before leaving the room again.
The group would head towards the CCT tower, which was currently getting some renovations at the moment, as the team would enter the elevator which would take them up.
"Now Summer, don't go pressing all the buttons like last time." Taiyang said to their leader.
"Whaaat, what are you talking about? I never did such a thing." Summer pouted before looking at the elevator buttons as she pressed one and accidentally opened the door as she pressed another one to close it. Then finally pressing the button to get to the headmaster's office, but not before pressing 2 other buttons. "There we go! All done!" Summer said with a wink and a thumbs up.
Her teammates saw this fumble as they had various degrees of annoyance written in their faces. Qrow looked a bit annoyed, but quickly shrugs as he sits down to relax. Taiyang would facepalm at this as he lets out a sigh. And Raven glares a bit at Summer as her frustration was very evident.
Summer herself would chuckle sheepishly and rub the back of her head as the elevator went up to the headmaster's office.
Due to Summer's mishap, it took longer than needed to get up to their desired floor. Eventually they managed to reach the Headmaster's office as they were given clearance to enter. The sounds of gears turning and handles clicking into place would have a rhythmic ambience to the office as the four of them walked up to the desk. There they saw Ozpin sitting at his chair with a cup of coffee at hand and his trusty cane at the side.
It was certainly impressive that Opzin was considered the youngest Headmaster Remnant has ever seen, a prodigy who was given this role as well as a seat within the Vale council. And while she seems fully capable of handling such a herculean task to manage all of it, it seems he wasn't free from stress. He had a bit of bags under his eyes due to lack of sleep, and his otherwise well-kept black hair had a few patches of white despite his young age.
Nevertheless, Ozpin would greet his students with a nod and get to business. "Hello there Team STRQ, I'm glad you've been able to come to my office in such a short notice."
"Of course, professor." Summer said with a nod before asking the obvious question. "Sooo, what did you need from us?"
He nods before he would type at a keyboard while given an explanation. "Right, well you four have shown to be exceptional regarding field exploration and combat prowess, and as such, I feel it is time for your team to be granted your first proper mission."
This came as a surprise to Team STRQ, having not expected this to happen within their first year.
"So wait, does that mean we have to take on a mission without shadowing a huntsman?" Tai asked given what Ozpin implied.
"Isn't that usually reserved for second year students and above?" Raven asked as she raised an eyebrow at this.
"While that is usually the case, but the fact that most of the second-year students have some missions already makes getting a team of huntsmen ready rather difficult." Ozpin explains to them. "Besides, according to eyewitnesses, this wouldn't be your first time tackling a mission on your own." He said with a knowing look towards the team. "Unless I'm misremembering, I recall there being reports of a nearby village being saved from bandits, shortly after a forest fire was reported in the area."
Team STRQ would try to look innocent in this regard, as they were very involved with that particular incident.
"Oh, uh, I have no idea what you're talking about professor." Summer said while blushing and fidgeting with her index fingers before dropping the act. "Okay yeah, that was us. But at least we saved a village!"
"Weren't you the one who started the forest fire after missing a shot loaded with fire dust?" Raven pointed out that during a fight that broke out against said bandits, Summer missed her shot and set a tree on fire, leading to the aforementioned forest fire.
"Oh, that uhhhh totally never happened!" Summer quickly replied with a sheepish smile on her face. But eventually sighed in defeat once she saw everyone looking at her. "Fiiiiine, that was me. But I didn't mean to start a forest fire! You can blame the bandits for that." Summer said while hugging her arms.
Qrow would look away as he knew that it wasn't the bandits that caused her to misfire, sighing a bit as he was partially responsible for it, even if indirectly.
"Well, it wasn't all bad. The fire did help drive away most of the bandits." Taiyang said in response. "You could say it lit our way~" He joked, which earned groans from his teammates.
Summer would roll her eyes in slight amusement as she knew Tai for his puns. "A-Anyway, you said you wanted us to go on a mission. What is it?"
"Right, well the mission should be straightforward. You're all familiar with Mountain Glenn, I take it?" He said as he showed a holographic picture of said place, to which they all nod. "Well, there appears to be some high Grimm activity within the area, which could prove dangerous if left unattended. I would like for you four to go there and do what you can to lower their numbers and see why they're gathering in the area."
"So, Search and Destroy, got it." Qrow said with a nod, as he did like the sound of it.
"Yeah, that sounds like something we're good at. Time to show everyone our team is a stark contrast compared to the rest~" Summer said before giving Tai a wink.
Taiyang chuckled at this while Raven groaned at Summer joining in on the puns.
"In that case, I’ll have a bullhead be ready for you as soon as you're good to go." Ozpin said with a nod.
"Of course! We're ready whenever you are, professor." Summer said with a salute.
Ozpin would dismiss the group so they could get going, as the team would enter the elevator once more.
"Okay, can someone other than Summer press the right button?" Raven said as she didn't want to go through this again.
"Don't worry, I got this." Summer said confidently before pressing a button to make the door open again as she sheepishly waved at Ozpin before pressing another button to close the door. Then finally pressing the right button as the elevator started going down. "Phew, there we go."
"Well, at least you didn't press multiple buttons this time." Taiyang said with a sigh of relief.
"Yeah, the crisis has aborted." Qrow said as he leaned against the wall, though no sooner than he said that the power went out on the elevator. "...Spoke too soon."
Raven would pinch the bridge of her nose in frustration, as they were now stuck in here.
"Uhh... now what?" Summer asked while looking at her team. "We're not stuck here forever, are we?"
Then ended up waiting around an hour or so stuck in the elevator until staff got it working again. It was the most boring and annoying moment in their lives, filled with campy songs and more puns to pass the time, it almost drove Raven insane.
---
Team STRQ would eventually ride the Bullhead towards their destination, as they were hoping to forget about the elevator incident. Especially as Raven was left in a grumpy mood and had her armed crossed during the whole flight.
Summer was munching on some cookies during the flight before giving one to Raven. "Want some?"
Raven raised an eyebrow at this, though she didn't accept the cookie as she still was in a grumpy mood and scoots a bit away.
"Come oooon, a simple cookie wouldn't hurt." Summer insisted while bringing the cookie closer to her mouth.
"...Grr..." Raven would grumble a bit before she would snatch the cookie from her hand before taking a bite out of it.
"Hehe, it's tasty, isn't it?" Summer giggled before going back to eating more cookies.
"..." Raven didn't respond verbally, but she couldn't help but give a half smile from the taste of the cookie. Once she ate the cookie however, she would resume being her grumpy self.
Sometime would pass and Raven could see a cookie slowly coming closer to her mouth, with Summer grinning all the while. "Coooookiieeee~?"
Raven would deadpan at the attempt Summer made to feed her. "I'm not a child, you know."
"I didn't say you were a child, Raven. I just saw you being all grumpy and wanted to cheer you up." Summer said with a bright smile on her face, the cookie still close to Raven's mouth.
Raven didn't respond back, but she reluctantly opened her mouth so she could accept the cookie.
Summer would let out a cute giggle before inserting the cookie inside her mouth.
Raven would close her mouth and chew for a bit before swallowing it, she would look at Summer as she was a bit annoyed that the girl wouldn't leave her alone... But the cookies were nice at least.
Summer would give her a wink before relaxing after eating some tasty cookies as the team waited to reach their destination.
Eventually, the bullhead would arrive at the base of Mountain Glen, as they would land close to the ruined city. Team STRQ would exit the aircraft before said vehicle would depart and leave them.
"So, our first solo mission..." Summer said while looking around the city before looking back at her team. "Let's do our best, Team STRQ! Make sure to be on your guard and stay safe."
The group nods as they would head into the city, weapons drawn out. The place would be empty and barren, many buildings left destroyed and abandoned. Not much activity could be seen within these ruins outside of a few small animals darting across the streets.
"Yikes... I've heard about Mountain Glen and the incident that happened, but seeing it in person is something else." Taiyang said as he couldn't help but feel sorry for the people who used to live here.
"Not much different from the villages we've seen regarding being abandoned." Raven said as she was used to seeing settlements like this, though this was on a much grander scale.
"But still... it's not exactly a sight you want to see again." Summer said while looking around as she felt uneasy with how quiet and eerie the place felt.
"Well, let's see about getting to the spot Oz mentioned. It should be close now." Qrow said as the group went deeper into the city.
Eventually, they would arrive at the heart of the city, where they saw what remained of a building which towered over all of the others and sported a faded logo with a large M on it.
"Merlot Industries." Qrow said as the team would look at the remains of the building.
"More like Merlot Remains." Summer said while looking at the building debris as she looked around. "So the Grimm is supposed to be around here?"
"That's what Ozpin told us on the way here." Taiyang said as they all looked around.
Raven would look towards the building itself as she would spot an opening that led inside. Without warning, she would head towards that opening, which caught the attention of her team.
"R-Raven! Don't go on your own, wait up!" Summer said while chasing after Raven.
Team STRQ would proceed to head inside of the building as it was dimly lit by the nearby windows, they would see empty and/or destroyed containers, furniture, and even some computers.
"Mmm... No Grimm so far." Raven noted as they would explore around a bit.
"You know, I would've thought we'd seen a Grimm by now, even something like a Beowolf or something." Taiyang said to the group.
"Yeah, so far we haven't seen a single one." Summer said before realizing something and looking at Tai. "You don't think they're sneaking up on us, do you?"
"Yeesh, I hope not. Last thing I want is for Grimm to start to strategize." Taiyang said as he shivered at the thought.
As they went around to look, Summer would spot something dash by a few broken boxes. Something which was glowing a bit.
"W-Who's there!?" Summer said while looking at the boxes as she grabbed her axe and transformed it to rifle mode, aiming at the boxes. "Was that a Grimm?"
"Mmm?" Qrow turned to where Summer was looking at, but he didn't see anything. "Probably just a rat, we would've noticed a Grimm sneaking around if it was."
"You think so?" Summer asked while looking at Qrow before looking back at the boxes and lowering her weapon, still holding it just in case as the team continued to go further into the building.
As they went deeper, Raven would knock over a stack of boxes as they crumble into pieces, and a few mice who were inside them would scatter for a place to hide.
"Ugh, this is getting frustrating. Where is this Grimm anyways?" Raven said as she was getting riled up.
"Maybe it's deeper inside?" Summer said with a shrug. "Ozpin said there was Grimm activity around here but so far we haven't seen one."
Summer ends up spotting something scurrying past a few ruined sofas, as she saw something pale white in the brief moment she did.
"Did you guys see that?" Summer said while pointing at the ruined sofas. "Something just scurred past those sofas! And it was all white."
The three members looked to where Sumer was looking, but after a while of staring, nothing came out.
"Summer, is this another one of your pranks?" Raven accuses Summer of wanting to play a prank on them.
"N-No, I'm not! I swear I saw something!" Summer pouted before running towards the sofas and seeing nothing. "Where did it go..."
"Ugh... Let's just keep looking." Raven said as they started to walk ahead.
"What was that thing? And why was it all white?" Summer pondered to herself as she caught up with her team.
They would eventually find a set of stairs which seems to take them down below the first floor.
"Well, this seems to hold promise." Qrow said as they all started to go down the stairs.
The passage down was narrow and somewhat unstable, as a leakage above suggests that rainwater was eroding the lower levels of the building.
"Watch your step guys, these stairs seem unstable." Taiyang said as he was taking slow and careful steps.
Summer would do the same as she asked Tai a question since he was the closest to her. "Hey, Tai. That thing I saw... Do you think it was a Grimm?"
"I'm not sure. If it was something like a Beowolf, we would've spotted it easily." Taiyang said as he had his doubts.
"Hmm..." Summer pondered and tried to figure out what exactly she saw as they headed down the stairs.
They would soon find themselves within a lower floor of the building, from the looks of it, it looked to be like a former lab with the now broken equipment.
"Mmm, what's all of this?" Raven asked as the group looked around.
"If I remember correctly, Merlot Industries researched genetics and artificial intelligence." Taiyang explained as he looked at a flask of black goop which made him feel uneasy about it.
"Ah, so like those Altas folks who think they're on top of the world? Got it." Qrow said as he would push an empty flask off a table as it shattered on the floor.
Summer would also find a flask full of black goop as she quickly felt uneasy inside the lab. "Just what were they doing here.."
"Don't know, and I don't think I want to know." Taiyang said as the group continued to look around.
"Well, we'll probably find out regardless, wouldn't be the first time we stumbled upon a conspiracy." Qrow said before pushing a computer off the table and letting it fall on to the ground.
"Qrow, would you stop that!?" Raven asked as she was getting frustrated by his antics.
"Qrow, the last thing we want is for a Grimm to suddenly hear us and come barging in." Summer said while hugging her arms before the room they were in suddenly shook a bit as the three looked at her, forcing her to raise her hands up. "Wasn't me!"
"Well, whatever that was is probably what we're looking for." Raven said as she walked ahead, glaring at Qrow all the while.
"At least we're making progress." Qrow said while shrugging before the group started to follow her.
As they did, however, Summer would spot something glowing within the shadows of the room. She saw a few small, yellowish-red circles staring back at her.
Summer's silver eyes would widen upon seeing such an unnerving sight as she grabbed her axe and transformed it to rifle mode. "G-Guys? What is that over there?"
This time, the group would turn around and look where Summer was pointing at, noticing the glowing orbs.
"I'm not sure, but I don't like the look of it." Taiyang said while keeping his fist up.
The orbs would suddenly scurry away as soon as more company arrived.
"Well, it seems like we're not alone in here after all." Qrow said as the four of them looked around, keeping an eye out for the spying mystery entities.
"I knew I saw something before. Let's be careful around here." Summer said while holding her weapon tight as she and the rest of her team kept an eye out for any suspicious entities.
As they formed a tight formation around themselves, they could hear and see subtle movements within the empty lab, which got them on edge.
Before long, they would hear a small screech as something white scurries out of the shadows. It was very small, barely bigger than a corgi, and it had bony white armor looking like an exoskeleton. Where the eye sockets would be out came a pair of horns, and a singular piercing red/yellow eye would stare back at them where the nose should be. It was definitely a Grimm for sure, but one the group has never seen in person before.
"What... is that?" Summer was the first to speak as she looked at the oddly small Grimm. "That's a Grimm? It doesn't even look cute when seen this small." Summer said, seemingly bothered over the fact that tiny Grimm was just as... well, grim as the big ones.
"That's a pretty flawed logic to assume Grimm can be cute." Raven comments as the group had their weapons ready just in case.
The little Grimm would screech before running away back into the shadows, which confused the group.
"That's weird, I don't think I've ever seen a Grimm flee before." Taiyang said as he was puzzled by this odd behavior.
"You don't think it ran away because we didn't call it cute? Do Grimm even have feelings?" Summer said while looking at Tai and sheepishly scratching her cheek.
"If they do, do you think they will be happy on their birthday?" Qrow said, knowing that such an idea would be outlandish. "It would be quite the bloody party if that's the case."
"Oh, stop with the nonsense, it clearly ran away because it knew it couldn't take us on." Raven said as she wasn't going to entertain such foolish ideas.
"Yeah, I mean we're way taller than that thing. I bet we could take on a horde of them if the need arises." Summer said while putting her hands on her hips and grinning confidently.
They would all hear some more screeching nearby as they saw a few more of the little ones peeking from the corners. They didn't do much except watch over them.
"Are they... Watching us? It's kind of freaky..." Taiyang said as he was creeped out by the little Grimm staring at them.
"Yeah, I don't like this at all." Summer said while looking at the tiny Grimm watching them before she aimed her rifle at one of them. "Nothing bad could happen if we killed them, right?"
"I don't know... It could end up setting them off if you open fire here." Qrow warned Summer as none of them knew what would happen.
Soon, enough, a piece of the ceiling would fall off and land on the ground next to them. Which ended up starling the little Grimm and making them flee.
"Well, I guess there's that." Summer said with a shrug as now they didn't have to be freaked out over the little Grimm watching over them.
"Let's just keep going while they're gone, don't want to wait around to find out that they do." Raven said as she marched on ahead.
"And where are we supposed to go exactly?" Qrow asked as they didn't really see a clear way to go down lower.
"Hmm-" Summer's line of thinking would be stopped as the room they were in slightly shook, causing some bits of the ceiling to fall down as she looked at her team. "Wasn't me!"
"Probably it was me." Qrow said with a sigh.
"Let's not point fingers as to who did it. But Qrow does have a point, I don't see a way we can go deeper." Taiyang said to Raven.
"Well then, start looking. Perhaps they had a secret compartment in here." Raven said as she would head towards one of the bookshelves and started to pull out all of the books.
"Secrets inside the laboratory, eh..." Summer said while looking around the lab for any secrets like behind books and looking under the tables for any secrets within.
After a bit of searching, Summer would notice that it would stick out from the rest of the lab. A potted plant. Despite there being almost no light down here, this plant was seemingly doing fine.
"The heck? What's a plant doing here?" Summer said in a confused tone before placing a hand on it as she couldn't lift it up, but after turning it a bit a click could be heard and a nearby bookshelf would slide over to reveal a secret entrance. "That was me this time!"
"Heh, you know I'm not usually one to say this, but I think we got lucky there." Qrow said with a smile.
"Well, we can finally make some progress. Let's go." Raven said before going on it.
"Raven, can you at least wait for the rest of us?" Taiyang said before rushing over to catch up with her.
"She probably just wants to get this mission over with." Summer said while she and the rest of her team went through the secret entrance, wondering what they would find.
The team would venture deeper into Merlot Industries as they end up finding another set of stairs which they went down. Once down the set of stairs, they would see a door which read; "Authorized Personnel Only".
"Seems like we found something important." Qrow would state the obvious, much to Raven's chagrin.
"And considering no one's here, I say we're authorized to get in." Summer joked a bit as she and her team went inside, though the redheaded huntress felt like they were getting close to something.
What the team would end up finding inside was... Something they weren't prepared to see. They found themselves within a large room filled to the brim with glass tubes full of some gooey green liquid, and more alarmingly, cages full of Grimm who bite and clawed at the sturdy bars.
"What... What is this?" Taiyang asked as the group would walk along the path, taking in the odd and foreboding scene.
"I knew I had a bad feeling about this place." Summer said while tugging Sauntered Rose tight as the team walked through while looking at the cages in case any one of them loosened and broke.
After a bit more walking, they would come across a cage containing a Beowolf that growled at them. But this Beowolf was much different than any they have seen before.
"Umm... I'm pretty sure Grimm doesn't come in green." Qrow said as indeed the Grimm had a green glow to them where it would usually be red, as well as having green on the tip of the bony spikes.
"Weird..." Taiyang would mention before looking back at the green tubes. "Whatever that green stuff is, it's affecting the Grimm somehow."
"Disgusting." Raven said as she wasn't pleased with this fact. "You mean to tell me someone has been experimenting on the Grimm?" She asked as she hated that this very well could be the case.
"Gross. Why would they do that? What's the point in experimenting on them? They all want to kill us either way." Summer said while looking at Raven, also not pleased with what they were seeing.
"Mmm..." Qrow would look on at the Beowolf as he was thinking about the situation. "Maybe they want to make the Grimm into some sort of Bioweapon?"
"Bioweapon?" Taiyang asked before he looked at Qrow. "You can't be serious."
"Qrow, this isn't like one of those stupid arcade games you play, this is for real!" Raven said, getting increasingly frustrated by the whole situation.
"First up, it's not stupid." Qrow said to Raven before continuing. "Second, what else would Merlot Industry want with a whole bunch of Grimm in their little basement? Unless this is some twisted form of a trophy room."
"...I think Qrow's got a point." Summer said while looking at the test tubes. "They were definitely planning on doing something to the Grimm, as insane as that sounds."
The Beowolf would bang against the bar of its cage as it reached out to them with its claws, wanting to rip them apart.
Raven would respond in kindness by grabbing her sword and slicing the arm off and then stabbing its head. "Good riddance..." She said before sheathing her weapon.
"...Umm... Why is the Beowolf starting to swell up?" Taiyang asked as indeed, the Beowolf was starting to swell up like a balloon a bit after being killed. As opposed to how most Grimm disintegrate on death.
Summer would be confused for a bit before thinking it was about to explode.
"Everyone, get back!" Summer shouted before grabbing Tai's hand and running away from the swelling Grimm.
They heed their warning as they all back up, as Summer suspected, the mutated Grimm would end up violently exploding and blasting the cage apart from inside.
"...Okay... Grimm exploding... That's not good." Taiyang said as he was a bit horrified by this fact.
"Well, if Merlot Industries wanted to make the Grimm deadlier, then they managed to do it." Qrow said as he too wasn't pleased with this.
"So does that mean all of these Grimm..." Summer said while glancing at the rest of the caged Grimm. "... Would it explode if we kill them?"
"Probably the green ones at least..." Raven said as a glare would be evident on her face. "I think we managed to find what we're looking for then."
"Yep, you got that right. This was the Grimm activity we've been looking for." Summer said while looking at the Grimm. "Question is, what do we do about them?"
"I know this will sound a bit crazy, but how about we blow this place up and take out the Grimm in one fell swoop?" Qrow suggested.
"As much as I would like to not deal with these mutant Grimm, shouldn't we let Professor Ozpin know about this first?" Taiyang asked as this could go south real quick.
"For once, I actually agree with my brother here. It would be best to get this over with while we can." Raven said as she looked around for anything that could help with that.
"I think Tai's got a point, however. Letting Professor Ozpin know about this is probably a good idea." Summer said before pulling out her scroll to call Ozpin, only to find no signal. "Great, no signal."
"Okay, we should see about-" Before Taiyang could continue, they all heard the loud banging of metal coming from deeper within the room. "That can't be good..."
"Everyone, stay alert." Summer said while gripping her weapon tight as the banging of metal got louder.
The group would continue to advance with their weapons at the ready, ignoring the other mutant Grimm that wanted them dead. Eventually, they would come across a metal door that had the label saying "Testing Facility", and it had a button that would open the door if pressed.
"Whatever is making that sound, it seems that it's coming through here." Taiyang mentioned as he looked around. "Anyone else feeling on edge?"
"Yeah, you can bet on that." Summer said before preparing to press the button. "Alright, Team STRQ. Whatever's behind this door, we're gonna try and take it down. Are you guys ready?" Summer asked her team before taking a deep breath and (maybe too dramatically) slamming the button as the door started to open.
The alarms over the door would flare up as it opened, revealing a very large room that looked like it was a rocky battlefield and had an even larger door on the other side.
"...Wait, this is it?" Raven asked as the group looked around, spotting no Grimm in sight. "It's empty."
Summer herself was also confused by how empty the room was before the door at the other side caught her attention. "Maybe it's coming from there?"
As soon as she said this, another set of alarms would flare up as the door would slowly start to open.
"Seems to be the case..." Qrow said as they would look on with a steely glare.
Once the door was opened high enough, something large would come out slithering. It was a Grimm that they were familiar with, a King Taijitu, as the two heads on each end would rise up and glare at the group. But it seems this was also a mutated Grimm as it sported a lot of green features where the red should be and more across its entire body.
"D-Don't tell me... don't tell me they were experimenting on that thing!" Summer said while looking at the snake with wide eyes. "Of all Grimms, did it have to be a King?"
"Oh, of course..." Raven would let out an exasperated sigh as this was going to prove much more difficult than they initially realized.
"Yeah... But we have to make sure this thing doesn't get out of here." Tai said to them, knowing the risk of letting this Grimm roam free.
"Yeah... we're gonna have to take it down. That's why we trained after all." Summer said while offering Tai a smile before the King roared. "Alright, team. Let's go!" Summer grabbed her Sundered Rose in axe form and dashed at the Grimm.
The group would scatter to see about diverting its attention, as the King Taijitu would roar and had the two heads go after the huntsmen in training.
The black head would proceed to try and pounce on Summer, but the young girl would dodge out of the way and leave the head to be slashed at by Raven for being left open. To their surprise, it mostly shook off the attack before returning to attacking them, as Tai and Qrow were having a similar situation on their end.
Summer and Raven would deal with the black head as Raven would dodge out of the way, which gave her leader the opportunity to come down from above and stab its head with her axe as it roared in pain. "It did not like that- WOAH!" The snake would suddenly shake its head vigorously to get Summer off of it, the redhead holding onto her axe before it came out which caused her to fly and land on the floor further away. "Ow..."
"Man... That thing is a lot tougher than it looks." Tai said as he ducks under the white head launching at him, as Qrow would shoot at it to get its attention.
"Yeah, whatever they're feeding this thing, it got it a lot stronger than other King Taijitu." Qrow said as he would deflect the head tackling him with his sword, though it did cause him to use a bit of aura to keep himself steady.
Summer would get up from the floor and grab her axe as she watched her team fight. "We gotta stop that thing... but how?"
Grrr~
As soon as she said it, her stomach would suddenly grumble in hunger, looks like it's been a while since the last time she ate her yummy cookies. But she'd soon remember something important as she looked back at the Grimm. "That might work, but... I've never done it to a Grimm of this scale before."
The rest of the team didn't pay much attention to what Summer said, too busy fighting the large two-headed snake.
Raven would roll out of the way from another lunge as she would swing her sword at the neck, managing to cut a bit into the beast. But she backed off the moment she saw green liquid spill out from the wound. "We can't keep fighting like this, we need to take out one of the heads to stand a better chance." Raven said as she regrouped with Summer.
"Easier said than done!" Qrow overheard this as he would run around the large Grimm, shooting at as many parts of the body as he could before he would be smacked away by one of the heads.
Summer would see her team having a rough time with the snake Grimm before she nodded to herself. She was team leader; her role was to support her team and help them out. Even if it meant exposing her biggest secret.
"Alright everyone, listen up!" Summer called out to her team, specifically Tai and Qrow. "I got an idea on how to take it down. I'll need both of you to distract that Grimm just enough for Raven to use her sword to stab the snake above its head to keep it in place on the floor, then I'll finish the job!"
Both boys would nod to this as they would rush towards the two heads, keeping them occupied.
"I assume you have a plan on how to take it out? Cause if not, you're putting us all in great danger." Raven said to Summer.
"Trust me, I know what I'm doing." Summer replied with a nod before nervously scratching her cheek. "Though... Please don't freak out."
Raven would narrow her eyes at this, not liking the sound of it. "You make it sound like you'll do something weird, and I don't like that implication."
"J-Just trust me on this, okay? It's the only way of taking that thing down for good. Do you trust me?" Summer asked while smiling and looking at Raven.
Raven would look on for a bit, before she would sigh heavily. "I got a feeling you're going to do something stupid, just make it count." She said as she placed a hand on the handle of her sword, getting ready for an opening.
"It might look stupid to you until you see how effective it is." Summer said with a chuckle before her belly let out a hungry grumble, causing the redhead to blush and look away sheepishly.
Raven would hear the grumbling of Summer's stomach, but paid it no mind. She watched as Qrow and Tai kept the two Taijitu heads focused on them.
Tai would be rushing in and out of the strikes of the white head of the snake, hoping to agitate it enough to get reckless. "Come on you overgrown garden snake, do your worst!" Tai taunted the snake before it would roar at him, reeling back for a powerful strike, just what he wanted.
Taiyang stood still as the pale serpent lunged at him with mouth agape, before he rolled out of the way as the snake ended up biting on to the metal floor and getting its fangs stuck on the ground. "Now, Raven!"
Raven nodded as she dashed towards the now vulnerable head as she would jump upwards and pointed her sword downwards, before plunging towards it with enough force to stab it through the skull. The fire dust in the blade helped with piercing it as the other head roared in pain before glaring at Raven.
"Whatever you plan on doing, do it now!" Raven said as she kept standing on her head.
Summer was already charging at Raven when she called her as she mentally prepared herself. "Here goes nothing..." Summer said to herself before bursting into white flower petals, flying towards the king's head. Raven should probably jump out of the way.
Sadly, since Summer didn't properly explain what she had in store, Raven didn't move out of the way. As far as Raven knew, she was going to do something like chop the beast's head off or something. But as soon as she saw the mass of petals heading towards her direction, her eyes widened as she got swept up by it along with the Grimm.
The Grimm's head would be wrapped up in white flower petals alongside Raven as it spread over to his tail, more of the King Taijitu being wrapped in flowers before suddenly there was smoke as Tai and Qrow couldn't see what happened.
The black half of the King Taijitu would roar in sudden pain as it would start to flail around a bit, but the surprising thing was that its body was seemingly cut in half. Where did the other half go, a question both Tai and Qrow had while looking at the smoke.
They'd soon get their answer as the smoke would soon clear and their eyes would lock onto Summer, who was sitting on the floor. But something else caught their eye; her massive, thrashing belly as she sat there panting for fresh air. "Haah… haah... oooh... that was... a lot bigger than I expected..." She panted while rubbing her gut.
Indeed, as the boys would look upon Summer and her massive gut, they had their jaws drop in shock, trying to process what just happened.
"W-W-What? What just happened?" Tai eventually managed to ask, though his mind was failing to come up with a proper explanation.
"H-Huh? ...Oh! Uh... how do I explain this?" Summer said while sheepishly rubbing the back of her head before looking at her team and noticing something troubling. "Wait... where's Raven?"
This would snap the boys out of their shock, as they would look for their suddenly missing teammate, now confused as to where she went. All of them didn't realize that Raven was now trapped inside of Summer's stomach, as said girl was currently pinned down under the white Taijitu as she would be rightfully confused and startled by what just happened. Raven tried to move to get Summer's attention, but the Taijitu was flailing much more aggressively, so she was basically ignored.
Summer would look around for any signs of her teammate and friend, but she couldn't find her. She then remembered Raven being on top of the snake's head to keep it in place, after which she-
"Oh no... Raven!?" Summer said while poking her large belly as it kept thrashing around. "Did I eat you too!?"
Raven would be barely audible over her noisy gut, though Summer couldn't understand what she was saying.
"... Welp! I think I've officially gone crazy." Qrow said as he would pull out a flask he had hidden on his person and started to drink a bit, much to Tai's flabbergast.
"Uhh, just hang on! I'll get you out soo- Urp!" Summer would suddenly place a hand on her mouth as she felt something coming up her throat, mumbling out an "oh no..." below her mouth burst open.
"BWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRPPP!!!!!!!!"
Raven would be ejected out with a lot of force, as the girl would end up tumbling across the floor due to being disoriented, before she would shakily start to push herself up. She was covered from head to toe with saliva, a bit of stomach acid, and a few cookie crumbs. Raven would look back at Summer with a mix of shock and fear.
Summer would stare back at Raven as she felt herself blushing before nervously rubbing the back of her head. "Uh... excuse me?" Summer said with a sheepish chuckle.
The group wouldn't get much of a chance to recover, as the black half of the Taijitu would recover itself as it glares at the group.
"Umm, Summer? Can you still move with... that?" Taiyang asked with hesitancy, referring to her large belly, which dwarfed her inside.
"Uhh... not really." Summer said while rubbing her large, gurgling gut. "This Grimm is too big for me to be able to move. Best thing I could do is provide support fire." Summer said while transforming her axe into Rifle mode.
"Great... Now we have to defend her?" Raven grumbled in annoyance as she got up, still keeping her distance from Summer, as she didn't want to be eaten again.
"Heh, maybe we can get her to eat the other half." Qrow said with a dry laugh, as the three members got in front of Summer.
The Taijitu would glare at the group, but it then did something they didn't expect. It started to roar up into the air, as the place would shake a bit.
"Okay, I think it's mad that I ate it's other half." Summer said as her belly would jiggle around from the room shaking, causing another belch to come out of her mouth. "UUUUUUUURRRRRRPP!! S-Sorry, eheh."
As they would look on, they could hear something scurrying past them, it turns out it was the same small Grimm they saw before. It would hiss at them briefly before running towards the Taijitu, as many others would come out of the shadows to start swarming the beast.
"That's... a lot of those Grimm." Taiyang said as he didn't like how many there were.
Raven would look on as her eyes widened in realization. "Wait! I think I know what Grimm is that."
Summer would realize alongside Raven as she aimed her rifle and started firing at the Sulfur Fish. "I don't like where this is going, so I say we kill those little guys while we can!"
The group would start firing their ranged weapons in response to this, managing to get a few of them, but this was a few down in comparison to what was like hundreds of them. They would all start to form around the Taijitu as they attached themselves like patches as they would start forming a large body together.
"Those are Sulfur Fish; I've heard a member of our tribe mentioning them when they came from Vacuo. They like to join together and form monstrous forms." Raven explained as they watched the Grimms do exactly that.
Given the large number of Sulfur Fish, they were able to make a massive form which matched the Taijitu in size. The snake would remain the same save for having a few Sulfurs attaching to its head to form horns, but it wasn't alone as now it had near identical heads next to them made out of the little ones. All of them sharing one body which made them all look like a 3-headed dragon, as the fusion Grimm would let out a frightening roar as it extended its blood red wings with green veins running through them.
"...Uhh, this doesn't look good, you guys." Summer said while looking at the dragon Grimm as she just sat there, looking at it. She hoped it wouldn't come to her first because she had no possible way of moving around.
"...Well, told you there were Dragon Grimm out there, pay up Tai." Qrow suddenly said to him.
"Qrow, this isn't the time for that stupid bet!" Tai said as the group would keep their ground.
"Fine, but I expect you to-" Qrow would be interrupted as the King Sulfur Taijitu would start to crackle with electricity before each head would fire a concentrated beam at them.
The group was forced to dodge the attack, and thankfully it just missed Summer. But the force of the attack would send her rolling away thanks to her giant belly.
Summer would roll around like a ball before she ended up resting atop her large belly as her cheeks puffed out. "OOOOOOOUUUUUUURRRRRPPP!!! Phew, that was close." Summer sighed before looking back at the dragon. "We gotta kill that dragon, but would our weapons be enough?" Summer asked herself.
"Only one way to find out!" Raven exclaimed as she would rush towards it as she dodged one of the heads trying to bite at her, before she would start to slash at the neck, killing a few Sulfurs in the process. But she was forced to back up as another head fired an electric beam at her.
Qrow would catch the head's attention as he was firing at it nearby, before the Grimm would redirect the beam at him, forcing him to run around it. Taiyang would take this opportunity to close the distance as he would start to punch at the beast's leg, killing a cluster of Sulfur and causing it to briefly lose its balance.
"I think we can kill the little guys and chip away at the whole thing!" Taiyang said before he would roll out of the way from the beast stomping its foot on to him.
"I'll provide support fire, you guys be careful now!" Summer said before aiming her rifle at the dragon, using her big belly as a way to steady her aim which somewhat worked as she managed to shoot at some of its sensitive spots, as well as helping her team in killing more of those Sulfur Fish Grimm.
While they were making progress in chipping away at the beast, the King Sulfur Taijitu would prove to be a powerful opponent. Using its wings, it would flap them to create a strong wind which would blow the group away from it, before following up with firing beams from each head, all of them sweeping in different directions, making it hard to dodge. Raven in particular was hit by one of the beams and it caused her aura to flicker, nearing its breaking point.
"Raven!" Summer cried out as her belly would let out a loud grumble, looking down at it before getting yet another crazy idea. "I don't know if I'll even have room for that thing." Summer said to herself before looking back at her team and seeing them take a couple hits from the dragon. "Oh, screw this. It's my job as a leader to make sure my teammates are safe... hey, guys! I got an idea! Kind of an insane idea, but still an idea!" Summer called out to her friends. "Could you guys somehow get that dragon to lunge at me? I think I can swallow it down!"
"What!?" They would all shout out in unison, finding this to be crazy.
"Are you insane!? You're going to try and swallow that!?" Raven exclaimed, pointing at the clearly giant Grimm.
"I mean, she did swallow half of the Taijitu... But Summer, that's putting you at risk!" Taiyang said, while forced to dodge a tail swipe from the beast.
"I know, but I can't just sit here and watch my team get hurt!" Summer called out as she rubbed her belly. "Please, just trust me!" She said while giving them a confident smile.
The group would look at each other to gauge the opinions of the other, before they would reluctantly nod.
"Okay, if you say so." Taiyang said to Summer. "Now how will it be- Yikes!" Taiyang would jump back as a large concrete slab would fall near him, looking up, it would show that the roof of the room was damaged and looked like it was going to fall apart.
"My bad!" Qrow exclaimed nearby, dodging one of the heads snapping at him.
The broken ceiling would give Summer an idea to get the beast's attention.
"...Aha! I got it!" A lightbulb would light up above Summer's head as she'd use her rifle to fire at the ceiling above the dragon. "Everyone, fire at the ceiling!"
They would all look up before they understood what Summer meant, as they all started to fire at the ceiling. It didn't take long before the roof, which was barely being held together, would start to fall apart. The King Sulfur Taijitu would get it on one of the heads by one big slab of cement, before it looked up and realized what was happening. But it couldn't move out of the way in time, as the ceiling caved in on it, crushing it under the debris.
"Yeah! We did it!" Summer cheered as the beast was crushed beneath the debris.
"Huh, well you look at that." Qrow said, surprised that it worked as well as it did.
Raven on the other hand, wasn't convinced it was done. "...It's still alive."
Summer was about to say something before the beast would slowly get up from the debris. "Oh crap..."
The rubble from the cave-in would shake before the damaged King Taijitu would emerge from it, battered and with a missing fang. All of the Sulfur Fish weren't as lucky as they were all crushed by the falling cement. The now aggravated Mutant Grimm would glare at the group, with Summer being the closest one to it. Without a second though, it would slither out of the debris and lunge at the huntress in training.
"Summer, look out!" Taiyang called out as the group would rush towards her aid, panic would rise within all of them with this attack.
"Here we go, Summer... you got this." Summer took a deep breath before opening her mouth as wide as possible once the dragon was close to her, feeling herself fall back as she found herself on the floor, with half of the dragon Grimm sliding down her gullet as she'd take deep, heavy swallows to send it down her throat and into her already massive belly.
The King Taijitu would flail its tail around greatly, very agitated that it found itself inside of Summer's mouth, as it tried to shake itself free. But Summer would be able to send it deeper and fill her stomach even more.
Summer would moan as the big snake flailed around in her mouth, however she was determined to deal with this snake once and for all, taking deep, loud swallows that sent more of the snake down her throat and into her already massive gut.
Eventually, Summer would finish as the mutant Grimm would get sealed inside and forced to join its second half. A lot of trashing would happen as a result, causing Summer's belly to jolt around in random directions and threatening to make her roll in those directions.
"Haah... haah... Ooooh... I'm so overstuffed..." Summer pants while rubbing her gigantic gut as she rested on top, trying to not roll around before her belly rumbled loudly, feeling something big coming up her throat.
"Oh crap... BWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRPPP!!!!!!!!!!"
The belch would echo across the room and force the other members of her team to cover their ears from how loud it was.
"...Is it over?" Taiyang asked as he wondered if they were done with the Grimm.
"Let's hope so, don't want to make her eat anymore and risk her popping." Qrow said as he was unsure how much more Summer could eat.
"A-Are you guys... okay? UUUUUUUURRRRRRPP!!! Ugh, sorry..." Summer blushed and looked to the side as she was embarrassed over burping so much in front of her team.
"We're good, no worse for wear." Taiyang said as the group approached their leader, though Raven stood the farthest and kept an eye on Summer.
"I'm not getting anywhere near her, I don't want to end up in her stomach again." Raven said as she didn't want to be eaten again.
Summer would look down at her team, then look around and see that they were in the clear as she let out a sigh of relief. "Phew, finally... now I can focus on dealing with this massive gut." Summer said while patting her huge, sloshing, gurgling belly.
"So... How long have you been able to do this?" Qrow asked as he poked her belly with the tilt of Harbinger.
"...I guess I have no choice but to explain all of this, huh." Summer said while sheepishly rubbing the back of her head.
"You certainly do." Raven said seriously as she wanted to know what this was about.
"Sigh Alright then... It all started a long time ago, back when I was still training to be a Huntress and I got ambushed by a group of UUUUUUUURRRRRRPP!!! B-Beowolves." Summer would wipe the saliva from her lips after burping.
"I managed to take care of them all and only one remained so I used my semblance to fly towards it to slice it clean with my axe, but I must've miscalculated both me and the Beowolf's speed because before I knew it, I ended up crashing onto the Beowolf. Afterwards I felt dizzy for a bit before I looked ahead and... well, all I saw was my stomach stretched to a size I never thought was humanly possible." Summer said while reminiscing and rubbing her huge gut.
"Okay... Does anyone else know about this?" Taiyang asked as he would wonder if others know about this.
"So um, obviously I started panicking thinking I was in danger, but soon realized that I felt... pretty full. Like I had just eaten plenty of food that tasted delicious. At first I thought I was going crazy until I noticed that my stomach was somehow digesting the Grimm. I could tell because after some time, its struggles would slow down until eventually... nothing." Summer said while poking her gut. "The Grimm stopped moving and when I touched my stomach, I couldn't feel anything solid inside."
"Impossible, you can't possibly digest a Grimm like that. It would disintegrate the moment it dies." Raven pointed this out.
"Or blow up in this case?" Qrow said as this was the case that it was a mutant Grimm Summer just ate.
"...Uh oh, will this Grimm explode inside my gut?" Summer said in a nervous tone while poking into her huge, gurgling belly.
As soon as she said this, it seems her stomach would react to the Grimm digesting inside of her.
"Oh no... this isn't good!" Summer said while tugging her huge belly as it churned and bubbled loudly.
"Umm... What's going on?" Taiyang asked as they all backed off as Summer's belly started to bloat a bit more.
Summer could hear her large belly bubbling inside as she felt her cheeks suddenly puffed out.
"Ulp! BWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRPPP!!!!!!!!!!"
The loudest, leviathan-like belch ever escaped Summer's lips as well as green flames as she took a second to catch her breath. "Haah... haah... please excuse me..."
"...Cool." Qrow simply said as he did like to see her spit out actual flames.
"Remind me to stay away from you and your mouth..." Raven said as she now had even more reasons to avoid Summer.
"S-Sorry..." Summer would look away bashfully while her massive belly kept gurgling and churning to digest the snake Grimm.
"Okay... So, how long do we have to wait till... this is gone?" Taiyang said as he couldn't help but stare at her stomach.
"Um... probably a couple of hours." Summer said while giving Tai a sheepish smile.
"A couple of hours!? We can't stay here for a couple of hours!" Raven exclaimed loudly as she didn't want to wait around here.
"Well, can you carry this UUUUUUUURRRRRRPP!!! huge gut outside? I can't move around!" Summer said while patting her belly for emphasis.
The group would sweat greatly at this, looking at the belly and how big it is. "Umm, I don't think even a Goliath could lift that..." Taiyang said with a sweat.
"There you have it. We're gonna have to stay here until I'm done digesting this Grimm." Summer said while her gut gurgled and churned.
Raven would grumble before she realized something they could do, but it frustrated her that she was going to resort to this.
"Qrow, wait for us outside." Raven asked her brother.
"Huh? What for?" Qrow asked before looking at Raven as she nodded, which made him realize what she was referring to. "Oh, okay then." He said as he would proceed to leave the building.
"Raven? What are you doing?" Summer asked while looking at Raven as she didn't know what her teammate was planning.
"Yeah, what are you planning?" Taiyang asked as he was just in the dark about it as Summer.
"Just don't mention anything about you're about to witness to anyone. I mean it." She threatened the two of them while pointing her blade at them.
"O-Okay! Sheesh, you don't have to be so dramatic about it. UUUURRP!! E-Excuse me." Summer blushed once again after belching.
The group would wait in silence, the only sounds would be coming from Summer's stomach.
"... So, what are you-"
"He should be out by now." Raven said before she would step aside and slash at the air in front of Summer. Soon enough, a red vortex would appear on the floor next to her.
Both Summer and Tai would look at the red vortex on the floor as Summer was the first to speak up. "W-What... is that?"
"No time for questions. Tai, help me push her." Raven said as she got behind Summer and started to push her.
"U-Umm, okay?" Taiyang said as he too started to push her.
"W-Wait, what are you guys UUUUUUUURRRRRRPP!!! doing?" Summer said while burping after the two squished their hands against her belly to slowly push her into the vortex.
The two of them would continue pushing till Summer would roll into the vortex and fall inside. From her perspective, she would suddenly go from within the lab to being right outside of the ruined city, and Qrow was right there waiting.
"H-Hang on, what are you pushing me int-!" Summer would be cut off as she found herself falling into the vortex, screaming while doing so before she suddenly found herself outside the ruined city, having fallen onto the ground as she slightly bounced in place before settling, her gigantic belly gurgling and churning loudly in protest.
"Uuuuuuugh... I'm so dizzy..." Summer said in a dazed state.
"Heh, probably a good thing she did that." Qrow said as he was leaning against a tree, having just seen Summer fall through the vortex. "Doing good?"
"Ulp! BWWOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRPPP!!!!!! Ugh, k-kinda..." Summer said while rubbing her belly and blushing after burping so loudly.
Taiyang would soon pop out as well, and look just as dazed as Summer. "Ugh... That's a bit disorienting..."
"Eh, you get used to it." Qrow said as he shrugged.
Summer would take a moment to catch her breath before speaking up after seeing Raven coming out of the vortex. "R-Raven, what just happened? It's like we all just teleported back outside."
"That's my Semblance, it allows me to create a portal straight to those who I have a strong connection with." Raven explained before glaring at Qrow. "As much as I hate to admit it with him."
"Heh, you do care." Qrow said with a bit of a mocking tone, which made Raven glare even more at him.
"No way, you can do that? That's awesome!" Summer said in an excited tone before realizing something. "So you can create a portal with those you have a strong connection with. Does that include us as well? We are a team after all." Summer said with a wink while swinging her legs in the air as she might as well converse with her team and let her big belly do its thing.
"...Only those who I trust, and you both still need to earn that from me." Raven said as she crossed her arms and looked away.
"Well, I suppose we could use more team exercises." Taiyang said as he figured it would be beneficial to aim for that.
"Hey, it's not like I ate you on purpose!" Summer said while hugging her arms and looking away before noticing something as she looked down at her bubbling gut. "Huh? The snake's struggles... I can feel them slowing down now." Summer said as she could still feel the King Taijitu thrash around inside her stomach but they weren't as powerful as before.
The group would watch as her stomach would move a bit due to the struggles, but it eventually died down as her stomach would soon end up rounding out and looking a bit softer as a result.
"OOOOOOOUUUUUUURRRRRPPP!!!! P-Please excuse me..." Summer burped loudly once again as she gave her belly a poke and saw how deep her finger went as she couldn't feel anything inside. "Wow, I actually did it. I digested a King Taijitu." Summer said in disbelief as she didn't know her stomach acids were this strong and potent.
"Brr.... That could've been me..." Raven said in a low voice, thinking how she probably could've been digested if she remained inside of her stomach.
Summer would soon go back to talking to her team to pass the time as she cleared her throat. "So, uh... I guess the mission is complete now, isn't it?"
"I suppose so. Should we call so they can pick us up?" Taiyang asked them.
"Tai, I don't think a bullhead would be able to lift Miss Glutton over here." Qrow said as he poked her belly to emphasize.
"Hey, who are you calling miss glutton? I don't eat that much! ...I think." Summer whispered the last part while nervously scratching her cheek as she remembered the many cookies she ate today.
Raven would look at Summer in disbelief after hearing this. "...You ate a giant Grimm like it was nothing! If that's not gluttony, I don't know what is!"
"W-Well, it's not like I eat Grimm on a daily basis! Besides, you should be thanking me for dealing with this giant Grimm." Summer said while patting her huge belly.
"You also ate me earlier!" Raven exclaimed as she was still hung up about that.
"And I didn't mean to! You just happened to be in my way and... I forgot to tell you to move away." Summer would rub the back of her head sheepishly. "But I still didn't mean to eat you!"
Raven would look away as she would walk over to a nearby tree and slash at it with her weapon in frustration. Seems tension between them was a bit high.
"... Perhaps give her some space, Raven tends to be pretty aggressive when she's stressed." Qrow said to Summer.
"Sure, if you say so." Summer said while looking at Raven as she did feel bad for her. She'll probably have to apologize to her after she's done with her giant meal.
After a bit of a silence, Taiyang would start to speak up to the group. "Well, I suppose we can count this mission a success? We did discover and destroy a dangerous bunch of Grimm."
"Not sure if we should mention how we dealt with it, not sure anyone would believe that Summer ate it." Qrow said as he knew he would've had a hard time believing it if he didn't see it with his own eyes.
"Mmm, maybe. What do you think, Summer?" Tai asked their leader.
"...Zzz." Both would look up at Summer and find her asleep, resting her head on her giant belly due to a food coma.
"...And she's out like a light." Qrow said in amusement.
"Sigh... Looks like we really are going to wait for a few hours." Taiyang said as he wondered what they could do at that time.
Raven would look at Summer sleeping, as her eyes would drift towards her stomach.
Summer's gigantic, round belly would gurgle and churn loudly in her sleep to fully digest and absorb her giant meal.
Raven would feel unnerved by Summer's stomach, thinking of when she was inside of it. She wasn't going to admit it, but it was one of the few times she felt actual fear in her life. And it was due to a seemingly innocent girl like her, to think she was secretly a voracious beast. She was going to keep an eye on her from now on, less she finds herself back in her again.
A few hours would pass as Summer's stomach would make 'relatively' short work of her massive meal.
Summer's giant belly would soon start to shrink as Summer was dreaming about being fed plenty of yummy cookies to keep her belly happy, as evident by her mumbling something about cookies occasionally.
The group would notice Summer's stomach getting small enough to where she can be carried now, even if it was still big enough to hold a whole person inside. After a bit of debate, the group had Taiyang see about waking her up. Mostly due to Raven not wanting to be near Summer, and Qrow thinking it would be funny to see what would happen if Summer woke up suddenly.
"Sigh... You guys.." Taiyang said before he approached Summer and gently nudged her. "Summer, wake up."
"Ahh!" Summer would yelp after suddenly waking up and her dream getting interrupted as she ended up rolling to the side and falling on her back, her belly sloshing around before settling in place. "OOOOOOOUUUUUUURRRRRPPP!!!! Ugh, sorry..." Summer apologized while rubbing the back of her head as she slowly got up from the floor and stood up, noticing her team giving her weird looks. "...What?"
Her team had just realized that something changed with Summer, as they had various looks of surprise and confusion. It wasn't until Qrow pointed out that Summer found out why this was the case.
"...Did you just gain weight?" Qrow said bluntly.
"Eh? ...Oh!" Summer looked down at her body and saw her massive gut had shrunken down to a beach ball sized potbelly, however her breasts on the other hand grew so much that they peeked out above her top, same for her hips as her skirt could barely hide how fat they were, blushing deeply while looking away. "I... um... forgot about this side effect..."
The group couldn't help but stare at the weight she gained, as Taiyang and Qrow were blushing a bit. Raven did her best to hide her own blush, though she failed miserably as she was very much jealous of Summer's figure. Despite not being one to flaunt her figure, Raven did take pride in her body, knowing that few can match her in physique and curviness. And yet here Summer was sporting breasts that not just matched, but even surpassed her in size.
Summer would look back at her team and see them all still staring at her which caused her to blush more. "S-Stop staring at me like that!" Summer stuttered out.
The boys would stutter a bit in response before respecting her wish and looking away, though now they couldn't stop thinking about her gains. It was Raven, however, that didn't listen to her as she started to glare a bit at Summer.
"..." Raven would approach Summer as she glares at her, closing the distance as her face was close to Summer's, her previous fear pushed aside due to her jealousy. "You mean to tell me that you ended up gaining weight like this because you ate that Grimm?"
"H-Huh? Y-Yeah, that's what happened. Why?" Summer said while looking into Raven's eyes as she didn't know why her team member was acting like this all of a sudden.
"..." Raven would continue to stare as she thought about this. "... After this is over, we're going to have a serious talk, just the two of us." She said before she would walk away.
"Uh, okay?" Summer would blink a couple times in confusion as she saw Raven walk away before she looked back at Qrow. "Is she still mad that I accidentally ate her?"
"E-Eh, probably." Qrow said as he turned to her, but did his best to not look down at Summer's curves.
"Maybe I should go ahead and call for a pickup, a-assuming you can move now, Summer." Taiyang suggested, he too keep his gauze away from their leader.
"Yeah, I can UUUURRP!! m-move now." Summer said while rubbing her round belly. "I'll need to deal with these... "additions" at some point as well." Summer said while looking back at her rear.
"N-Now hold on, no need to be so hasty about that. I-I mean, they don't bother you, right?" Taiyang said as his blush got redder.
"Well, not really. But they're kinda... out there." Summer said while her point being proven by how the slightest movement made her new assets jiggle around. "I'm probably gonna need some new clothes after this."
"I-If you want, I can help get you some bigger clothes." Taiyang offered it to her. While Qrow would roll his eyes playfully at Tai's eagerness.
"Really? Aww, you're so kind, Tai!" Summer said while putting her hands behind her back and smiling, her big breasts jiggling once again due to her movements.
As they discussed, Raven would look on once more in jealousy, as she would stare at Summer's breasts and how they jiggle.
Eventually, the bullhead they called would arrive as the group would take their flight back to Beacon. The flight back was mostly a respectful silence, only disturbed by Summer's stomach noisily working on what remained of her feast.
Eventually, they would arrive at Beacon as they would make a beeline towards the headmaster's office. And once again, they found themselves in the elevator like before. Unlike before, Summer's belly and gains did mean that there was a little less space inside the elevator.
Summer would find herself squished against her teammates as she couldn't help but blush embarrassingly. "U-Um, can any of you start the elevator for us?"
"You're the closest to the button." Raven said as she was a bit frustrated by the lack of space. Tai and Qrow remained quiet as they could feel Summer's curves and didn't want to be rude about it.
"O-Oh, right. Sorry." Summer said while looking at the buttons as she managed to press the button, the elevator started to go up.
"Did you press the right button?" Raven asked as she didn't want a repeat of what happened last time.
"O-Of course I did! Have some faith in your leader, Raven." Summer said with a cute pout.
After a bit, they went up to Ozpin's office, as said headmaster was waiting at his chair with a cup of coffee in hand.
"So, I take it your mission was successful?" Ozpin said, though he had a good feeling he knew the answer already.
"That's right, Professor. Those Grimm shouldn't bother us any longer." Summer said with a nod while her belly grumbled at the mention of Grimm.
"Very well then, I'll see about calling you all again at a later time about the mission's progress. But for now, you're free to head back to your dorms and rest. You've earned it." Ozpin said with a nod, much to the relief of the team.
"Thank you, Professor. We'll do our best!" Summer said while saluting him as her breasts jiggled slightly.
"Mhmm, before you go, there is one thing I would like to ask." Ozpin said as this made the team a bit tense. "I have noticed a change since you left."
"A c-change, you say?" Summer asked while blushing as she knew what the professor was talking about.
"Mhmm, assuming it's not too intrusive, can you explain that?" Ozpin said as he set the cup down on his desk.
"Well, uh... how should I put this..." Summer rubbed the back of her head. "It's quite a long story, eheh..."
"I see, and I take it that it happened during the mission?" Ozpin asked.
"...I guess there's no point in hiding it." Summer said with a sigh. "So during our mission, we were fighting an infected King Taijitu and that's when I had an idea on how to kill it."
"Mmm, and given the changes, how would you say you dealt with the Grimm?" Ozpin nodded as he let her continue.
The rest of the group remained silent as they didn't know what else to do.
"Well... I ate it." Summer said while patting her belly. "A-And digested it too. Which is why I suddenly look like... this." Summer said while looking down at her big breasts and blushing.
"I see... Most peculiar." Ozpin said as he rubbed his chin a bit. "That would explain some things. I take it you've done this before?"
"Y-Yes, I have. Though I've never eaten a Grimm of this scale before." Summer admitted while blushing and looking away.
"Mhmm... And have you eaten anything that isn't a Grimm before?" Ozpin asked as he wanted to know.
"No, not really. I've only ever eaten Grimm since... well, how do I put this... they somehow taste good?" Summer said with a sheepish smile.
Raven would stare at Summer, as she didn't mention that she ate her.
"Interesting..." Ozpin said before continuing. "Assuming you can handle it responsibly, as you seemingly have, I shall remain quiet on the matter unless you say otherwise." He said as he knew this was a sensitive topic for her.
"I-I'd really appreciate it if you did. I'm not sure what everyone would think of me. They'll probably think I'm crazy." Summer chuckled.
"Well, take comfort in knowing that your gift will be appreciated. Seeing as it'll help you deal with the Grimm in a way that is satisfactory towards you, it'll be a solid motivator for your huntress work." Ozpin said with a nod.
"Thank you, Professor." Summer nodded with a relieved smile as she was glad Professor Ozpin didn't think she was crazy and seemed to believe her.
"Mhmm, in any case, unless you have something else you want to mention, then you're free to go." Ozpin said to them.
All four of them would nod as Summer would wave goodbye before Team STRQ walked away back towards the elevator.
On the way down, the team couldn't help but release their breath they didn't know they were holding.
"Oh boy, that was a bit nerve-wracking, I thought we were going to be in trouble." Taiyang said as he wiped the sweat he had.
"I thought Ozpin would find me crazy after swallowing a Grimm whole. But he seemed to easily accept the fact that I can eat Grimm, unlike you guys." Summer would joke and let out a chuckle.
"Hey, it is a little crazy, but not in a bad way." Qrow said as he would chuckle a bit.
"Although I'll try not to do it as much, considering... well, this." Summer said while looking down at her body.
"Well I like it- ack!" Taiyang said without thinking as he regrets blurting it out.
"T-Tai! Don't say that when I'm right next to you!" Summer stuttered while blushing deeply.
"S-Sorry..." Taiyang said while blushing deeply.
Soon enough, the group would reach the bottom of the elevator to ground level. But before anyone could say anything, Raven would grab Summer's hand and start to drag her away. "We're going to have that talk now, don't you dare follow us." Raven warned the boys about this as the girls left the building.
"W-Wait, Raven, where are you going!?" Summer said while trying to let go of Raven's grip as she looked back at Qrow and Taiyang before they disappeared from view
The boys were left a bit wary about what Raven wanted to talk about to Summer.
"I wonder what Raven wants to talk to Summer about." Tai couldn't help but wonder.
"Who knows, but seeing as they're gone, how about we go hit the arcade?" Qrow suggested.
"After everything we've been through?" Taiyang asked before he thought about it. "...You know what, sure." He shrugs as the two of them would head out.
---
After a bit of walking, Raven would lead Summer into a secluded part of the courtyard, underneath one of the pillars.
After they were done walking, Summer would catch her breath before speaking up. "W-What was that about, Raven?"
"I want to know about this." Raven said as she pokes accusatively at Summer's belly. "Tell me everything you know about it."
"H-Huh? What's there to know about? I already told you everything." Summer said while hugging her arms below her breasts. "I can eat and digest Grimm, what's more to say?"
"How do you do it? How do you just swallow something so large? How did you swallow me along with the Grimm!?" Raven said as she wanted to know.
"I-I don't know! I don't really know how or why I can do it, I just happened to accidentally discover I can swallow Grimm whole." Summer explained herself.
Raven would narrow her eyes as this wasn't the answer she wanted to hear. "Then how can you replicate it if you did it accidentally?"
"L-Look, I'm really sorry for eating you. I obviously didn't mean you. If it makes you feel better, you... tasted good?" Summer said with a sheepish smile.
A small blush would appear on Raven's face when she heard this, but she shakes her head as she growls a little. "If you really feel sorry for eating me, then you'll have to do me a favor!"
"A-A favor?" Summer would be taken aback by Raven's sudden request.
Raven would hesitate a bit as she contemplates what she wants to ask, before she goes for it. "Teach me... Teach me how to do what you do!"
"...Huh? Huuuuuh!?" Summer would be shocked at Raven's favor. "T-Teach you how to eat Grimm!?"
"Yes! It's clear that whatever you do makes you a powerful adversary to whoever you face, so I want to do the same." Raven said to Summer.
"B-But what if I put you in danger? You'll have to be really close to a Grimm in order to do it. That is, assuming you can even stomach an entire Grimm inside you." Summer pointed out.
"I already get close to Grimm when I'm fighting them, so I can handle that." Raven said before continuing. "And that's why you'll teach me how to stomach one in."
"You make it sound as if I'll magically let your stomach digest Grimm." Summer said with a deadpan expression on her face.
"You said it yourself, you managed to do it accidentally, so that means it should be relatively simple to do." Raven reasons with her.
"...I guess that's a fair point." Summer said while scratching her cheek. "Alright, I'll try and teach you later at some point."
"Good. We can start training later tonight. That way, we won't be interrupted." Raven said with certainty.
"Sure, just don't get your hopes up. Who knows, maybe you don't have the guts to do it~" Summer teased with a wink.
"Tsk! Even if I can't eat Grimm, the fact that you can eat others could prove useful." Raven said before smirking. "Who knows, maybe I'll get to turn the tables on you in the near future."
"Oh? Are you challenging me, Raven?" Summer said while getting close as both her and Raven's breasts were squished against each other.
Raven could see the slight size difference between their breasts and it made her flare up with a bit of jealousy. "Perhaps I am. Once I learn how to eat others, I'll make you look like a toddler in comparison."
"You think so? In that case, how about we start the challenge... now!" Summer said while grabbing Raven's arms and licking her lips, before opening her mouth wide and shoving her head inside, her tongue going over her face and licking it.
Raven would not be prepared for this as she would slightly panic a bit and try to fight back, but Summer had her arms pinned to the side and made it hard to struggle.
Summer would take the first of many gulps to send her head down her throat as Raven's breasts were squished inside Summer's mouth, licking over her breasts and moaning at their delicious taste.
Raven would try to resist moaning as her breasts were quite sensitive, but Summer kept licking them and eventually caused Raven to stop resisting and make her moan loudly.
Summer couldn't help but chuckle at her friend's moans as she'd send them down her gullet, her hands going over to Raven's butt as she lifted her up to easily get the rest of her down.
It took a bit for Raven to settle down after the licking she was subjected to, but she eventually stopped moaning for now and continued to flail her legs, though with noticeably less urgency.
Summer would grab her legs to keep them from flailing around as she gulped her way to her feet, pulling her shoes out and letting them fall to the ground before she closed her lips and took one last swallow as Raven fully curled up inside Summer's bloated belly. "Ahh~ BWWOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRPPP!!!!!!! Ehehe, please excuse me~" Summer chuckled while rubbing her belly.
Raven, once inside, would struggle a bit inside as she pushes against the stomach walls. "H-Hey! I didn't want to be eaten again!" She complained as she sat within the black and green goop that was left over from the Grimm.
"Well, you challenged me to eat a lot, and considering I gobbled you up so easily, it looks like I won the challenge~" Summer would giggle while patting her thrashing belly.
"Grr... No fair! I didn't get to learn how to do it!" Raven said before she continued to push against the stomach, hoping to make Summer lose her balance. "Also, don't you dare plan on digesting me while I'm here!"
"Pssh, relax! As if I plan on digesting my teammate." Summer would laugh softly before leaning down to pick up Raven's shoes and walk back to their dorms. "I'll let you out once we're back at our dorm room. Of course, you'll be a good meal and won't cause me trouble, right~?" Summer would tease while poking Raven's cheek from outside.
"Grr... Fine." Raven said before she crosses her arms in frustration, at least she got over her initial fear since at least Summer plans on letting her go. "You better keep that promise."
"And you better promise to taste good the next time I eatcha~" Summer would tease while licking her lips and patting her gut.
"What do you mean to taste good next time?" Raven asked as she felt a little offended at the question.
"You were pretty tasty, Raven. I'm just saying to taste just as good if not more the next time I eat you~" Summer cooed while rubbing her gut.
Raven would grumble as she didn't want to talk to Summer any time soon, too frustrated to really care.
Summer would keep walking her way towards the dorm room, her belly sloshing left and right with every step the redhead took.
The content in her stomach would slosh with each step, as Raven was getting covered head to toe with the Grimm goop, which frustrated her even more.
Summer would soon reach her dorm room as she patted her belly before opening the door and getting inside.
She would see that the boys weren't in the room, which meant that she and Raven were alone for the foreseeable future. And while she did say she would let her teammate go once they reached the dorm, it didn't have to be right now. After all, Raven can't tell where they are at the moment.
Summer would close the door behind her and walk to her bed as she went ahead and sat down, rubbing her bloated belly while smiling.
It felt nice to have Raven inside her stomach, how she filled her up and occasionally moved inside. Plus, it was nice to have a big belly like this, it at least made her other gains look modest by comparison.
There was a thought in the back of her mind, one that was equally as mean as it was tempting. The idea of just going ahead and digesting Raven, how she would be such a filling meal, and perhaps she could add even more to her growing figure.
Summer would find herself moaning at the thought as she rubbed her belly with both hands then started drumming on it.
While of course, she wouldn't act upon it, it didn't mean she couldn't entertain the idea and let her imagination run wild. She could see it now, how she was taking a nice nap as she digests Raven who struggles helplessly, slowly but surely succumbing to her stomach acids and adding to her figure.
This also reminded her of just how powerless Raven was inside her stomach as a mischievous grin formed on her face before sloshing her belly left to right.
She would be proven right as Raven would be helpless as she moves her gut around, forced to adjust herself while inside the stomach. It wouldn't take much for her to just let her stomach have her way with her delicious, filling friend and watch as her stomach would shrink and add Raven to her figure.
It was a very tempting idea, and the more she thought about it, the more she was starting to want to do it.
Summer would lick her lips at the thought as she found it to be very arousing, looking down at her gut with hungry eyes as it gurgled and sloshed around Raven.
It would be so easy to just sit back, relax, and let her stomach do the work for her. There was nothing stopping her from doing it, she was free to do as she pleased with her having Raven in her stomach.
"Maybe I should let my stomach do what it does best to food~" Summer moaned while rubbing her belly as it gurgled and grumbled around Raven.
It seems the temptation proved too much and she made up her mind, all she wanted to do now is digest her friend who she now considers her next meal.
Summer would slowly lick her lips as she looked at her bloated belly which was starting to gurgle and groan around Raven.
Raven would remain unaware of Summer's intentions, as the predator's stomach made it hard for her to listen to all the noises it was making. Raven was a bit unnerved by the stomach getting more active, but despite her better judgment, she decided to trust that Summer was going to let her out. Too bad for her, Summer was planning the exact opposite now as her stomach would start to prepare itself to digest her teammate.
Summer would place her hands on her gurgling belly and give it a rub as a loud moan escaped her lips. "I wonder just how much you'll add to me, Raven~"
As she thought about it, Raven herself was a bit busty, and Summer couldn't help but imagine those curves going straight to her own.
Summer would moan once again as her hands went up to cup her big breasts, thinking about how much bigger they'd get if she digested Raven.
Her stomach would start to growl loudly as it proved a bit deafening for Raven inside, as the organ would start with the slow process of digesting her. It would probably take a few hours before Raven would be absorbed into Summer's body, and the silver eyed girl was looking forward to that.
Summer would lie back on her bed with her tongue sticking out of her mouth as she couldn't wait to see Raven add to her already curvy figure.
And so, without much delay, Summer would let her stomach have its way with Raven. The stomach acids would start to bubble up inside as the stomach walls would start to contract inwards and push Raven around, as it would force some gas to go up to her esophagus.
"OOOOOOOUUUUUUURRRRRPPP!!!! Mmm~" Summer would moan after burping so loudly as she gave her gurgling belly a hearty pat
This could easily be Summer's best day so far. She not only got to eat a giant mutant Grimm, but now she gets dessert in the form of her teammate. Perhaps after she is done with Raven, maybe she could eat other classmates across the semester.
The thought itself would make her salivate as her large belly kept bubbling and churning to digest Raven.
As Summer was lost in her though, her whole world would come crashing down the moment she heard the door trying to open.
"Oh come on Qrow, did you lock the door again?" Taiyang could be heard on the other side.
"Hey, it wasn't me this time! Probably the girls arrived before us." Qrow said to his partner.
"Eek!" Summer would jump at the sudden sound of the door trying to open as she ended up falling on the floor. "Ow... what was I doing just now?" Summer said while rubbing the back of her head.
Her stomach growled loudly as it sloshed around with Raven inside getting tossed around, with her stomach still trying to digest her. Though if the boys find out that she was digesting Raven, it could cause some issues.
"O-Oh crap, I forgot to get Raven out of my stomach!" Summer gasped in shock before using both hands to squeeze her belly and get her out of there.
It's no doubt that she secretly still wanted to digest Raven, but the presence of the boy would make her have second thoughts about it. With the added pressure on her stomach, it would cause her stomach to get indigestion and make it to where its contents would start to go up her esophagus.
Summer would feel Raven coming up her throat before her head popped out of her mouth as the rest of her followed suit.
Raven would be released as she landed on the floor with the Grimm goop covering all of her body. For a brief moment, Raven actually looked a bit relaxed, but the moment her head hit the floor, she got alarmed as she looked around confused. "W-What the hell is going on!?"
"I uh... ate you. Did you forget?" Summer said while sheepishly rubbing the back of her head.
"Oh, right." Raven said as she was still a bit dazed. All she could remember in the moments prior was how the interior of Summer's stomach felt like a sauna and despite the difficulty she had with breathing, she had never felt so relaxed in her life. A part of her wanted for the moment to last, but she was forced back in the moment once the door started to open.
"I told you we should've brought the umbrellas." Qrow complained as it seems they got caught in the rain.
"Hey, you were the one who insisted on going to the arcane despite it looking cloudy, don't try to get it twisted." Taiyang said as they entered the room. "In any case, let's-" He stopped in his tracks as he was left confused as to what was going on inside.
It would be an odd sight without context, as Summer was on her knees as Raven was laying on the floor covered in black and green goop.
"Uhh... hey." Summer said while impishly waving at the two as she definitely had some explaining to do
"Umm... What?" Qrow asked in confusion as the boys tried to make heads and tails about what they were watching.
"... You know what, I don't think I want to know what you two were doing, plus we're all tired from the mission today. So how about we all forget this happened and get ready for bed." Taiyang said as he didn't want to think any more on this.
"...For once, I agree with you." Raven said as she didn't feel like wanting to explain anyways.
"I second that agreement." Summer said with a nod as she got up on her feet and extended a hand to help Raven get up.
And so, the group would get ready for bed, as the events would go on to be one that they agreed to never talk about again. Though this didn't mean they stopped thinking about it. Especially not Summer, as even as she went to bed later that night, she would think back to those blissful moments when she was trying to digest Raven.
Summer would look at the sleeping Raven and lick her lips as she went to sleep while dreaming of eating Raven and digesting her.
Meanwhile, Raven couldn't help but dream of herself being inside of Summer's stomach. How it felt so warm and how the heat inside helped with making her feel relaxed. She secretly wanted to go back inside and be in her stomach, even while knowing that there was that risk of getting digested.
Eventually, a week would pass as things went on with their daily lives in Beacon. Though the dynamics between Summer and Raven would change, something that the boys noticed. Summer seemed to be more clingy towards Raven and she would occasionally sneak in a lick on her when she thought no one was looking, or make a joke about eating Raven.
Meanwhile, Raven would seem to act a bit more friendly with Summer, indulging her otherwise odd mannerisms and retorting back playfully about getting eaten by her. Something definitely happened on that fateful day, and the boys didn't know what could've happened to have this change.
Regardless, today was their day off school as they were free to do whatever they wanted. Which meant that Summer was the first to suggest to the group what to do for the day.
And speaking of Summer, she was currently nowhere to be found in the room. She was supposed to be here with them but she hasn't arrived yet
"...Where is she? She was supposed to be here for the picture we agreed upon." Taiyang mentioned as held the camera for the picture in question.
"Don't ask me, I don't know where the glutton went." Qrow said as he was playing with his scroll.
"She better not make us wait longer than needed, else I'll have a stern talk with her." Raven said as she was sitting on her bed as she was practicing with opening her mouth widely.
As the group was talking, no one noticed a certain redhead sneaking up behind Raven as she mischievously grinned before-
"Boo!"
"Ack!" Raven yelped before she would instinctually swing her arm towards the perceived threat, only to end up with her fist inside of Summer's open mouth.
Summer would end up being also surprised alongside Raven as well as she grabbed her hand and pulled it out of her mouth. "Hehe, gotcha~" Summer said with a wink.
Raven would blush a bit before she pulled her hand away from Summer, crossing her arms and looking away with a huff. "Hmph! About time you got here." Raven said as she pretended nothing happened.
"Yep, just wanted to give ya a quick scare." Summer chuckled before walking towards the middle of the room. "Alright, Team STRQ! It's time to do our first mission of the day," Summer said before pointing at the camera. "Taking a group photo!"
The group would generally agree to this as they started to gather around.
"Alright, I got the camera ready, just need to set it to the countdown." Taiyang said as he would set the camera on the table.
"Remember to smile for the camera, everyone! Especially you, Raven~" Summer joked while bumping her elbow.
"Tck! Fine, if you'll stop bothering me." Raven said as she started to smile, truthfully not that annoyed with Summer.
Taiyang would set the timer as he went to join the rest, with him and Qrow on one side while Summer and Raven were on the other.
"Alright, everyone ready?" Summer asked her team as the countdown was reaching zero. "Aaaaaaand...smile!"
Flash!!
---
The picture would be taken as the moment would be preserved for the foreseeable future. All of them smiling while doing various fun things, Taiyang would remain with his arms crossed trying to look cool, Qrow would cheekily be giving Summer rabbit ears with his fingers, Summer playfully biting Raven's shoulder, and Raven having been caught laughing at the childish act.
Taiyang would be holding the photo in question as he reminisced about those former days, a bittersweet smile on his face thinking back to those simpler times.
As he was reminiscing, the door to the house would suddenly be knocked at and a familiar voice can be heard outside.
"Heh, coming!" Taiyang said as he would get up from his seat as he went to answer the door, as he was expecting his daughters to return from the training they told him about.
As he opened the door, he'd be met with his daughters Yang and Ruby, although Ruby stood out the most thanks to her huge, bubbling gut as she sheepishly waved at him. "Uhh... hi dad, ehehe~"
Taiyang would see this as he would be initially shocked at seeing this before he mentally sighs at this, as it reminded him of a certain someone. "... So... What happened?"
Yang snickers a bit as she would jab Ruby's side a bit to encourage her to explain.
"Um, don't panic, but... I somehow managed to swallow a Grimm whole. A-And digest it too." Ruby said while fidgeting with her index fingers and looking away.
"... I see..." Taiyang said as he lets himself process this before he starts to chuckle to himself, much to his daughters' confusion.
"Umm... Dad?" Yang asked as she wasn't expecting this sort of reaction from him.
"I-I guess it's a good thing he's not panicking about this?" Ruby said with a shrug before she felt something coming up. "UUUUUUUURRRRRRPP!!! S-Sorry, ehe~"
"Hehe, sorry. Just wasn't expecting this." Taiyang said to them. "I assume you aren't hurt otherwise?"
"No, not at all! If anything, I feel very full." Ruby said while rubbing her churning gut. "Like I ate an entire cart full of cookies. Yummy cookies, to be more specific." The bloated redhead chuckled.
"Hehe, sounds about right." Taiyang said as he would playfully rustle her hair as a result before looking at Yang. "... Yang, why are you wet?"
"Oh, well, funny story... I suppose Ruby was involved in that one too." Yang said as she forgot she was covered in saliva.
"Basically... I ate Yang too." Ruby said while sheepishly rubbing the back of her head. "But! I didn't mean to eat her, I was just trying to save her from a Grimm only for her to be eaten alongside it."
"Huh..." Taiyang wasn't expecting that part, but he couldn't help but hold back a chuckle at this, much to the girl's confusion. "I see... Well, at least you managed to let her out, so that’s what counts."
"Yep! The heroine saves the day once again!" Ruby said while resting her hands on her hips proudly. "Although... I can't exactly lift this gut. Yang had to practically carry me back to the house."
"Yeah, you're quite the 'heavy burden'" Yang said as she snickles a bit at the pun.
"Hehe, I can imagine that. Why don't you girls head inside and relax, dinner should be ready in an hour. Though I don't think one of you will be eating tonight." Taiyang said as he pointed towards Ruby's belly.
"That would be me!" Ruby declared while raising a hand as her belly rumbled loudly. "UUUUUUUURRRRRRPP!!! E-Ehehe, excuse me~"
Taiyang chuckled as he let the girls head inside, as he would look outwards and couldn't help but be reminded of one particular day.
"...Heh, like a mother-like daughter. " He said with a bittersweet smile before he went inside to join them and locked the door.
