Their wings cut through the air like a knife. The wind blew against their scales, coating their body. In this world, dragons exist- not just dragons, but all magical creatures. During the dark ages, there was constant violence and hatred between them and humans. It was a power struggle to prove one was superior to the other.

But as years go by, new things arise, old things die, Humans develop faster, and new ideas rise. The creatures took notice of man's growth and decided to settle old feuds to grow together. They combined man's machines with magic and created something better. This affected beings such as Dragons, whose bold, powerful, scaly bodies once stood above man and made them feel fear. Over time, they became more human-like, gaining multiple human-like features. They could use their magic to change into their dragon bodies and were still taller than the average human by 10 feet or so.

Scoity had accommodated for this; the dragons could change their size, but everything was still accounted for. They worked jobs and lived more human-like lives than their ancestors, who fought and plundered the lands for their own power. Now, they help people with their own control, as many have changed, and there will always be those bad apples.

On this night, a pair of dragons flew high in the skies; they flew in their dragon forms, twisting and turning in the night like vines on a tree. Their scales glowed at the moon's touch, and they felt the wind rush past them. The pair named William and Anne. Husband and wife they went out when things got heated between them. They have been arguing lately. Anne has been wanting another child. They already had two kids, Olivia and Buck, both at age 20. The thing with older kids is they grow out of a need for their mother so much. Anne missed the bathtime, the cuddles, the late-night rocking. She wanted to relive those moments again, Anne just wanted them one more time.

William argued that it was best to move on from those times. With the current rate of society, they might be unable to care for another child. It's best to wait for Buck and Olivla to have kids. and relive the moments there with grandkids; Anne argued it wouldn't feel the same, not to her, that least. But when things got heated between the two, they went out. Doing something else to relax themselves, they didn't want their anger to boil over. Well, for being married for 40 years, it works for them at least.

Late that night, as stars shined bright in the sky, they flew to relax themselves. But this night was different; they sensed something was wrong. The cloudless sky was pitch black, and a red light glowed from the trees below. The pair looked at each other, and then screams broke out in the waves of fire. William heard bikes revving in the area and flew closer to the fire to see what was happening. The smoke didn't make it easy to look around, but he saw it. A house that was burning and several bikes zooming around. Each cycle had a red dragon crossbones on it. Williams's eyes twitched, and his throat tightened. It was Scar's goblin gang. Scar was one of those bad apples and hated that dragons worked with any being, not just humans.

Using his magic, William talked to Anne, who circled higher in the air. Using telepathy, he spoke, "It's Scar gang; they set a house on fire. I'm going in to get a closer look." William flew down quickly; Anne replied, "Okay, I'll head to the other side to look for anyone who ran off." she flew over to the other side of the fire to search for survivors. Willaim landed on the ground with a mighty thud; his blue scales were covered by the fire's hot coat. He looked around but couldn't see anything so far, taking massive steps, he went closer to the house. Dragons had padding on their feet, which reduced the noise the made when walking, tho his large size didn't help hide him.

He made his way through the dense smoke and soot, coughing as he did. Willaim still could barely see anything. A sudden crack of branches got his attention, and he used his magic to turn invisible. Will saw two humans run by, an adult and a child. And some goblins running after cheering and boosting. Will rushed forward, hoping to catch up in time. As he got there, the goblins surrounded the pair; the fire's light showed it was a mother and child. The mother stood in front of her children to protect them.

The goblines snicked and laughed, pointing guns and other weapons at them. They didn't know William was there, and with a mighty swing of his tail, he slapped away the fiends, revealing himself. He stood tall against the fire. The mother looked at him with fear and gratefulness. Willaim didn't like this; he didn't want to be feared. A loud crack was heard, and the tree the humans stood in front of fell forward from the fire. Will quickly used his wings to cover them, showing he wouldn't hurt them.

After the tree crashed into the ground, he launched it with his wing into the air. He looked back at the pair, seeing they were okay, and said, "You need to hurry." the mother grabbed her child's hand and started running. Suddenly *BAM* a crackling sound broke the air, the mother for a moment stood frozen before falling nearly lifelessly to the ground. The child began to scream for their mother, who was in shock. Will was in anger, looked around, and saw one of the goblins had gotten back up. Will's face tightened, and his body shook with absolute rage. He mustered all the power he had and opened his mouth, letting out one of the mightiest roars he ever did. the Goblins began to run in fear, peeing themselves, they hopped long.

Willaim turned back to the child, who was shaking their mother, still screaming. Will got close enough to see the mother's face; she looked at Will with a smile and spoke with her last bit of life, "Please..protect him..please.." Will locked eyes with her, and as they faded, the life drained from her body. The boy screamed in fear and sorrow. Will gave the nod as if he was making a promise to her. Will quickly turned his head as he heard more bikes on their way over. he scooped up the boy gently and called to Anne, who was on the other side. Hearing her husband's call, Anne rushed over to the other side, meeting him outside the fire. She looked at him, her facial expression asking what was wrong. Will couldn't find his words at that moment. He nudged the child closer to Anne. He managed to say, "Look, take him. You're better with kids than I am.." Anne was shocked as she looked at the small child; she nodded and scooped him up. Will turned to brace the hellish area again, but Anne stopped him. "I looked, and there was no one else on that side." the motorbikes broke the air. Will snarled. "look, you go, I'll stall them off a bit." he ran off to face the fiends again, which left Anne with the boy.

Anne was desperately trying to figure out what to do with him; he was in too much shock to be able to hold on to her. and she didn't want to risk dropping him in her talons, which left one option. Anne gave a swallow, trying to regain herself, as the child was broken. She turned his face to look at her; he was covered in soot and ash. His sad eyes looked at her soft blue ones. "I'm not going to hurt you, okay.." the child really did not understand anything at the moment. Anne took a deep breath and opened her maw, she quickly stuffed the child in her mouth.

For a moment, she tasted soot, and then.

Anne swallowed the boy, and he coasted down her throat. It wasn't till he reached her stomach he panicked. "I thought you weren't going to hurt me." he hollered out. In a panic, Anne tried to calm him down. "it's okay. I'm not hurting you. It is okay" Will returned and looked at Anne "Okay, you got him?" Anne just nodded in a panic. William took off to the skies with that nod, and Anne followed. Will looked over at Anne, he scanned for the child but couldn't see him. "where is he?" he asked, confused, Anne struggled to answer. "Well, you see. I" Will's eyes widen at Anne's answer. "YOU ATE HIM?" he hollered out. Anne in the moment yelled back, "WELL THE FUCK DID YOU WANT ME TO WITH HIM? HE WASN'T SAVE RIDING MY BACK OR MY TALONS". Will regained his composure and spoke clamy, "Okay, sorry.. let's just.. head home."

The boy was struggling inside Anne's stomach; Anne spoke to him again to try and calm him down. "It's okay. I promise you I'm not going to hurt you...please, I know a lot has happened, but please, just relax..please?" she spoke softly to him. the boy wiggled in her stomach, which was big. His hands were sucked into the soft flesh, his body pressed against her stomach walls. After a bit, he gave in, laying his body down. He didn't have the energy to keep fighting anymore. Anne felt him settle down and spoke to him some more. "What's your name?" she asked smoothly and calmly; the child responded with tears, still rolling down. "My name's Corey." Anne placed a talon on her stomach, where Corey was lying, trying to soothe him. "Well, Corey, it will be okay now; you're safe. Why do you try and get some rest."

"I can't sleep now..." Corey said to the dragoness; she spoke again, gently, "Would you like me to use my magic to put you to sleep, just for a while?" Corey thought for a moment, still pressed against her stomach walls. "Yes, mam...please, I want this day over," he spoke. Anne relaxed her body, which allowed Corey to move. Anne began to hum softly. Corey heard the humming, and as he did, he fell asleep instantly. His eyes slowly closed, and his body let go of the tension it was holding and relaxed.

Anne felt him fall asleep, making her smile, knowing he was at least okay now. The pair flew to their house, which was nested in the suburbs. They had a decent-sized home, enough for them and Olivlia and Buck. They morphed back into their normal states as they landed on the lawn. The dragon head is shaped into a human-like head, still having the horns but having hair. Will was having a hard time standing. The door opened, and Buck and Olivia rushed out to greet their parents. "Is everything okay? what happened to Dad?" Olivia asked, and she showed concern for her father. Anne looked at her daughter. "No, we have some stuff to talk about," she said as they entered the house. Buck and Olivia rested their father on the couch in the living room. They had the average family household items.

Anne walked over to their hallway closet, grabbed a towel, and headed to her room. As she walked in, she closed the door, feeling her kids seeing her do this might be too embarrassing for her. Anne placed the towel on her bed and, taking a deep breath, let Corey out. After a few seconds, the boy's body is covered in saliva and goo. Anne gently places Corey on the towel and pats him dry, trying to not wake the boy. Corey was still pasted out from the spell. His body looked lifeless at times. Anne got into pating him, as if she was drying off a kid after bath time, for a moment to her the outside world didnt exist.

There was a knock at the door. Anne yelped in shock, "Mom, it is just me." It was Olivia. Anne paused before speaking. "Okay, come in." as in queue, Oliva opened the door. She first looked at her mother, and then she saw him. her heart stopped, and she soon felt bubbly. "he's so cute," Olivia said, her eyes fixated on Corey; she snapped back to reality and asked her mother, "Wait, why is he here?" Anne froze, not wanting to tell her daughter she had eaten him. "We'll talk about it tomorrow. You and Buck need to head off to bed. It's late," she answered; this annoyed Olivia, but she walked off.

Down the hall, Anne can see Olivia talking to Buck, who looks down the hall, trying to see Corey; Anne gives them a motherly look. Which makes them rush off to their bedrooms. Anne finishes drying off Coery to her best and picks him up gently; in her human form, he was about the size of a teddy bear. Which made it easy to hold him, Anne removed the covers and laid Corey down. Tho, Anne waited for William to come to bed. She paused for a minute she was about to check on William, but she saw her husband slowly walking down the hall.

William enters the room and sits at the front of the bed, looking at Anne and Corey. Anne smiles at her husband. Will smiles and asks, "What do we do with him?" Anne shakes her head. "Sweety, we can wait till morning.." Will cuts off his wife. "Well, I..was thinking...I know you wanted another kid." Anne leans over to Will and nuzzles him, which makes him climb to his side of the bed. Will looks at Corey, who rests in the middle of the bed. "I don't feel safe with him there. I could crush him.." Will stated, still looking at Corey. Anne nodded and picked up Corey, laying him on her side. Anne layed closer to William and pressed against his muscular body. She rolled over to face Coery, pulling him closer and wrapping her tail around him to keep him from falling off the bed. William lies against his wife's head, falling asleep rather quickly. Anne held Corey against her body, nuzzling his head, before kissing him softly. Her eyes sparkled as if something had been awakened in her, and she cuddled him again before falling asleep herself, holding on to a possible new child.
