Bronwyn was sleeping soundly in the Royal Library, head wedged
between the pages of a book as drool leaked out of her mouth and onto
the floor. She had been studying during the late hours of night,
which lasted until her eyes fluttered shut and her head slammed
forward. Upon her insistence, the Royal Librarian, a younger eagle
who went by the name of Barnham, had draped a blanket over her as he
