Lots of good information here! And just as good of writing.
For the appointment, Liliana completely unbirthing Akari would both be very attractive and very humbling for the much larger woman, but turnabout is fair play. I think Liliana being willing would be a better read.
As for the other half of the chapter; essentially free predation means the owner of the tavern is up for grabs!

Checking in on specifics for predation regulation is probably a good idea. If it’s lenient, then Akari can scratch her ‘full of prey’ itch legally and frequently. Also, she should check out that festival!

Secondly, I think that Akari should focus on her unbirth training, perhaps using Graf or her landlady. The city’s resurrection services probably makes such actions less shocking and more acceptable.

Hmm, if this comes up I'm gonna have to roll to see if the thief knows about the dilation boundary. Because if you go through one too fast you can literally rip yourself apart as what is inside the field suddenly accelerates to match the speed of what the field is going at. So Fifteen times faster in this case. More than enough to rip one's limbs off if they go into it too quickly.

In this world, it works similar to a different version of a stomach. Except instead of simple digestion, victims are degenerated down into either base cells or an egg if that is the desire of the predator. If the egg is made, it can then grow into the species of the predator at about 3 times the normal rate of pregnancy.
As to why Akari could not do so before, it's because most people just can't do it under normal circumstances. Some predators are born being able to do it others not. But certain strenuous situations can change that for any predator. Like Akari being stretched to the point of ripping her stomach apart and healing over and over for hours and days on end. That situation is way over qualified to unlock the ability.
Keep in mind that this world is sort of gamified (hence the stat sheets that all beings have), so some things will just arbitrarily happen is requirements are met.

Save for some rarer exceptions going forward, near human type prey will be the typical victims for a while. Monsters like the drake Akari encountered are rare and are normally hunted down.

Not a critique nor a suggestion. Just personal preference. Would love more humanoid prey and some smaller sizes in general. I have difficulty picturing a 16t naga or 80.000lbs of prey. Not sure if its possible at this point to go back in size tho. Especially with the record breaking in mind. But mine is just one voice of many and I'll keep reading either way cause I enjoy your style so don't pay to much attention.

She really needs to digest most, if not all, of that titanic meal. She's an easy and slow target right now despite regeneration. I'm surprised she hasn't tried to find a nest/cave to curl up in and sleep it off in a "food coma". Heh.

Given the chaos of the battle, anyone going past that scene later will probably come up with some gruesome rumors with the churned ground soaked from blood from one end to the other. Could be used for some flavor text to use later as gossip spreads.

Getting to the city right now is risky, Akari should try to hole up for the next few months until she's able to move with anything resembling speed. She should scout out a place to rest and hibernate, preferrably a place with one more meal to gorge on before sleeping for a few months.

Also, time-skipping through travel if nothing of particular note is happening seems best. Maybe just do random encounter tables for that part, if it turns up nothing of note just move to the next set piece.

Some of that is certainly possible and even likely, but characters in this world do not gain abilities or powers from consuming others. Just the possibility of getting attribute boosts. So shapeshifting is not really something that Akari can gain.
It's partly so I don't need to make a lot of the gluttonous characters in the future with extremely bizarre bodies and powers.

Okay, unfortunately characters in this world do not gain abilities or body parts from vore, just possibly attribute points. Second, I'm sorry that the narrative did not make it more clear, but the drakes were polymorphed by the creator of the seal that held their cage shut. Polymorphing is not an inherent ability of drakes.
Sorry again if I confused things, I know I am not the best when it comes to making story elements clear.

Honestly, this is probably the right answer. I'm inclined to see if we can't make any of the other animals useful, but considering we don't have a class that does any animal handling, eating them is probably the best option.

Okay, just to let you know if this option gets rolled there will likely be a time skip of some sort at the end of the chapter. Because Akari will be stuck digesting for months in world, and she does not know any methods to make it go faster.

Have the prisoners fight amongst themselves and free the winner and take them as companion/emergency ration/plaything. But you'd have to make sure they don't just turn on you together. Let them sit a few days without food so they are all equally weak compared to you. Can even digest some of the food in the time and become slightly more mobile. You can also search the camp in the meantime.

Our lamia only digests 0.5 capacity per day, it will take 24 days to digest the current 12 equivalent inside her. So if the bodies aren't disposed of now, then they'll rot. Not to mention the one "Pregnant" Centaur is still alive and kicking and will wake tomorrow and likely expel whomever she has tucked away. So either Akari needs to kill her, or one of the prisoners needs to.

And as big as Akari is, none of them will be eating her.

I decided to remove the part at the end where Kara's brain and skull are splattered across the place.
But only because she would not have been around to see it. And it felt weird to keep the part in when still in first person POV.
So no, unfortunately the POV character's skull is not strong enough to withstand the hit from the shotgun slug.
