You have no idea how much I was worried about Rune. The whole Gorbfest atmosphere... A bunch of ponies struggling for their lives, digesting souls... It's both creepy and haunting at the same time. Rune miraculously gets himself out of situations on the verge of a horrible death, and still ends up in the belly of a predator. Familiar characters, atmosphere, and other stuff. This whole set of stories was an amazingly debauched wild ride. It's a real shame that Thorax and Ocellus didn't capitalize on their discovery. I'm sure the other changelings would have liked to know that they can feed souls to their fat nuts. And the ponies would have been really demoralized to see pictures documenting how their afterlives can be exchanged for a sweet creamy blowjob.
The next day, everyone was assembled in the dining room as per usual. The
cool water was exactly what Swift Sketch needed. It was quite
fortunate to find an empty beach on a hot day like this, a bit
suspicious even, but he didn’t worry about that. As soon as he had
set down his stuff on the beach, the blue earth pony ran off into the

I left that part a bit vague for a reason, so people have some room to interpret things to their liking
Despite
the distance, Ember enjoyed the long flights to the hive. She
preferred to think this was due to the scenic route rather than
anticipation to meeting Thorax.
The
hive itself changed quite a bit in recent time. While the wild plant
growth the changelings seemed to like still covered most places, it
was cut back in other places to make room for various kinds of art
like banners, statues and smaller decorations. They looked well made

My God this story is great
I don't know why, but all the fatal stories with the dominant predator, it tugs at my heartstrings. Scarlet Sound is an incredibly interesting character. And so in this story she became just another snack for the queen.
