"Look,
look," something whispered. Adrian pretended not to notice,
allowing his ears to focus on what the younger rabbits were saying
but letting them believe he didn't hear them. "Dad said he
thought he'd leave by now."
"Yeah!
And mom said she hoped so," a third voice shushed the first two,
scolding them.
"You're
gonna get us in trouble. What if he hears us?"

flashlight was acting up, causing him to tap it against his hand in
an attempt to keep it alive. The beam sprung back to life after only
three taps, and Jake quickly pointed it back in front of him. The
light swept up and down the cold cavern walls, revealing the same
