Having successfully weakened the Divine Dragon, Marni keeps an eye on her as per Mauvier's request but the situation changes when stray magic almost hits her, narrowly dodging it and instead, it hitting her captive.

And here we are, the character I was referring to in the description of the previous story, Marni. I have many issues with how the game handled her (without getting into spoiler territory with this one… Chapter 21) but that didn't stop me from liking her a lot! I just wish the game handled her better, there was a lot of potential.

I've been wanting to write a fic for Marni for a long while now and hey, since I'm on an FE streak as a whole, now certainly felt right! Getting to write more villain characters is also an excuse, I so rarely do that but now I have two stories in a row starring a villain, isn't that amusing? x3

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy reading this as much as I had fun writing it~! Now that I've written Marni, what about her alternate universe counterpart, you may ask? Well to that, I say… this isn't the only story I uploaded just now! Yes I know this won't make much sense if you instead read the other story first but though both are going up at roughly the same time, this one should be up first, plus that'll work nicely with the thumbnails. :3
