The worms take days to fully digest their meal. This one lingered on the surface for a bit, while the bulge within struggled and strained and then fell sill. Then it slid back into the deep mud of the pit. The Slave-Taker should have paid her debts.
With the show over, the wormlord closed the cover of the pit. There would be another show tomorrow, perhaps with more women this time.

This series is excellent! Very sexy, and the little 'emotion bubbles' from the worm were darkly amusing in just the right way! :D
