Ahem! Today...
I'm going to tell you the story of the Shadow Queen.
An awfully long time ago... In a strange and far-off land, a big, bustling town thrived.
It was a town where all people lived very happy lives.
And it was said that the town was very prosperous.
But until that one day... tragedy befell this blessed place.
A great cataclysm struck the town and its people.
Darkness filled the skies, and the earth roared and shook.
It was as if the very world had come to a violent end.
And in but a single night... The town sank into the depths of the earth...
Historians claim a great calamity befell the city, but nay… 'twas a demon.
It was destroyed in a single day by a demon from the dark beyond.
The city sank below ground, and one-quarter of the old city became the demon's den.
This demon put fear into the hearts of all men.
All those who fell into disfavor were quickly swallowed by the demon…
In order to increase its already formidable power…
..the demon devoured the essence of the heavens, using it to shape the world in her desired image.
One day, four heroes would rise up to vanquish the fell demon.
The power of the world-devouring demon was greater than any could imagine…
It was not enough to end the demon's reign…
They failed to seal the demon's soul.
And the demon began swallowing everyone and everything.. even her own faithful servants.
In her insatiable appetite, she began swallowing the land too.
Pumping it all into her hungry, gargantuan, pulsating and evergrowing body.
Everything and all was assimilated and became part of- one with the demon.
Every Light was to be swallowed by her terrible darkness.
Eventually the world was forever plunged into perpetual dark..
The demons hungry gaze already set onto the next unfortunate world...
"That's the Shadow Queen! Wow, she's scary...
Not only is her body scary, she won't stop rapidly growing either..."
