It's vore, even fatally digested characters are brought back. As long as the original artist has no emotional attachment to them being flushed you can rewrite them however and give credit.

I feel like even if you enjoy vore, sometimes casual fatalities have a uncanny vally kind of disconnect that makes it hard to enjoy. Which is why you always have a "are they okay?" response.
It also kinda strains a willing suspension of disbelief in terms of "well how in the hell does this society function if murder is legal and kind of encouraged?" but this only affects some people some of the time.
There was also this one vore writer who decided for his OC's to have continuity, and when they made a new OC they'd have them vore the old one and never use the old one again, it was fustraiting especially if you liked the old ones.
