My world, I get to decide if bird people can mesh their wings into arms.
Gonna probably be absent for most of tomorrow and possibly later today depending on if Debby decides to knock my power out. I'll try and have tomorrow's adopt up in the morning if I still have power but no guarantees.

The bird woman inside her belly must be confused as Vinomi's bloated belly is wobbling around constantly from all the running and fighting.

Lol yeah, I've been thinking about that. I'll say that we'll have a quick check-in on her soon

Bird eat cat, excellent turn around from the usual cat eats bird.

Out of curiosity, do you lean closer to magic in this setting or sci-fi? I'd love to understand the mechanics of how this is possible aside from Rule of Cool

I'm not sure it's really either, it's more so fantasy/alternate history. A lot of the fantastical stuff like being able to morph wings into arms, or just the fact Demis exist, is down to the biology of this alternate reality of earth.
Since wings are essentially arms, the wings on birdfolk function the same way. So birdfolk in this world essentially have a second set of arms, and they require lots of muscle and strength to lift their bodies off the ground. The amount of strength required to casually lift a person of that size with ease and for long periods of time is immense. So when their wing/arms are reverted to their dexterous state, you're left with this powerful pair of arms. While the precision in grabbing from these arms are gone, the strength is far from it.
