Long before the planet or any of the people that we know, amazon and elfin alike, there existed only two sisters that ventured across the cosmos together. Matragina, the goddess of life, would enjoy making stars and planets like an artist would paint on canvas. However, Bellafinnes, the goddess of destruction, in her greed would snatch up her sister's creations and devour them to sate her uncontrollable appetite. At first this was all in jest, but eventually Matragina grew concerned that no life would be able to persist in the galaxy if her sister would not yield. Though these two cared for each other, this disagreement would begin to drive a wedge between them.

Here is the first entry for this year's Voretober! For anyone that hasn't seen my blog, this time I will be following the prompts while also telling a story of how the world of Amazon University came to be in broad strokes in this sketchy parchment style. This is partly for the effect, but also because I'm still working on a comic as well and need whatever time I can spare. Hope you enjoy these regardless!
