Having sealed her sister within the confines of her stomach, Matragina put her whole heart into fashioning the world of Yotaia and filling it with life and magic. However, a combination of these tasks exhausted her to the point that the goddess needed to go into a deep slumber while her gut held Bellafinnes at bay. In the meantime, the trapped dark mistress concocted schemes with her remaining power to cast sinister forces upon her sister's prized creation. With her remaining power, she released a blight upon the world while Matragina lay dormant so that the creatures she loved would not know peace in the absence of their goddesses. From this point on, the two would remain in deadlock ensuring neither would gain the upper hand as the denizens of Yotaia would carry on building their lives.
