For many years, the amazon and elfin would live and build their societies unaware of each others existences. The elfin after all mostly lived on a land mass to the north farther away from most amazon settlements. However, things began to change as the blight surfaced and made itself known to the world. Bellafinnes' horrific creations emerged and feasted on any living thing it could find with some of the amazon being its first encounter. Their warriors tried to fend it off as best they could, but the most they could was keep it at bay long enough to migrate further and further away to save themselves. The blight's relentless chase would inevitably lead the original two races of Yotaia to cross paths for the first time in history.
