As the cycle of predation continued, amazon clans began to grow in size and strength over the years. In time, clans grew into villages, and villages grew into empires, especially as geomancer magic evolved to raise buildings from the earth. These strongholds became safe havens able to be defended from the blight, which was growing less of a threat over time. Though elfin were welcomed to take refuge in these queendoms to avoid being absorbed by the blight, they were seen more so as cattle than full citizens. After all, they would still need to routinely offer their own as fuel to be consumed by mages if they did choose to stay. And even then, those that remained in the wilds would still be hunted by amazon scouts anyways. It wasn't ideal by any means, but despite the power gap, this was the first time in history that either race was free to develop their societies without constant looming threats from the world around them.

So we have feudalism now. Whats going to break it?
Considering the likely explosion in Population the elfin would undergo due to being livestock, I'm getting the distinct feeling that we'll be seeing A violent Revolution, Ala The French revolution.
