When she was notified about some unusual sightings near the town, for another hunt Emery set out by herself again. She was told that there was a imp-like figure seen around, after a hellish portal popped up briefly. When she approached the site, she saw the figure wandering around, looking and seeming studying her surroundings.
”Oh, hello there” the being spoke up “I suppose you’re here to take care of me, because people are scared” the being continued “Name’s Sushi, and I’m actually a researcher, that’s interested in studying various aspects of many worlds, and funnily enough, one of them is being eaten by a predator, so maybe you could help me with that?”.
Albeit somewhat at a loss of words, Emery agreed to Sushi’s request and ate the imp.
Quite peculiar encounter for our monster hunter this time, but a healthy meal and satisfied “customer” are definitely a pro~
