Kyle kept running forward despite his poor visibility and lack of familiarity with the woods around him. The bunny couldn’t tell what the hockey mask clad carnivore chasing him was or why it suddenly appeared by the bus stop and kept growling so loudly at him, but it didn’t matter to him so long as he could escape even if a couple hard trips were slowing down his progress.
A quick glance back at his pursuer proved to be a fatal mistake as he noticed that the seemed to be swaying with each step as the growling continued, but he failed to notice the branch beneath his feet and with a final trip Kyle found himself regaining his senses in the grasp of the creature.
He struggled to get free but just couldn’t get lose from the creature as it pulled the mask away to reveal a drool soaked maw glistening in the moonlight. His blood ran cold when he heard a final growl and realized it was emanating from the creature’s midsection like a haunting siren’s song. As the maw slowly descended towards the rabbit he screamed for mercy but soon those screams became muffled as gulps and snarls rang out through the air. The audible signs of Kyle’s final fate were concluded with an echoing belch and the gurgles of a pred’s full belly signaling to any who could hear that another prey was claimed in the cool night air.

Riding the bus back home Gaige idly rubbed her full belly as the rabbit continued to squirm and squeal pleasantly inside her stomach. The hyena was still surprised she had managed to catch the little guy considering she was still pretty drunk after leaving that awesome Halloween party but she figured with how often that rabbit was tripping through the woods he must’ve had a few drinks that night as well.
As the rabbit’s squirms and bus’s bouncing coaxed another hearty belch from the hyena she hoped to get home before her bunny meal was digested too much for her to fully enjoy. With a satisfied sigh Gaige patted her squirming belly and hoped next Halloween would be just as delightful.
