Meet the artificer Katryl Bloodforge. Often called either Thunderfist or Kat. Despite obviously being an elf Kat considers herself a Dwarf at heart since she was abandoned in the woods by her biological family as a child and found by a lovely Dwarf couple who raised her as if they were their biological daughter. As a result Kat grew up with less than stellar thoughts on elves and detests them.

So full of hate for them that as a child she attempted to cut off the tips of her ears but alas removing a part of oneself is both a delicate and very painful process meaning the job was sloppy and painful and left her unwilling to go through with cutting off the other one.

It would be a couple more years as Kat really wanted to follow in her father's footsteps and become a master blacksmith like him,unfortunately in her enthusiasm to help she reached across an anvil to grab something, right before a giant smelting hammer was dropped which crushed her arm.

Fortunately Kat was a bright and clever girl and learned from her mistakes and even refused to let herself be fixed since she found them as good reminders to always think first. Clever and talented it would be only a few more years before Kat was now a greater blacksmith than even her father since she fashioned herself a metallic arm that she could control using magic and has remained with her family since then,helping with the forge and often longing to get out and see the world.

Also just as a reminder it's not just story comms I do these but I'm willing to colour for cheap too which would look like how it is in the pic. I'm not ready to accept drawing commissions though since my skills aren't good enough yet.
