Khezu are monsters fron the Monster Hunter franchise. It's a game where you take control of a hunter. A person from a hunter guild to defend villages and people from monsters but also teying to create as less impact on the ecosystem as posible (in theory xD)
So, these "monsters" are like the animals of that world. You have mammal like creatures, wyverns, dragons and such. These khezu are wyverns adapted to live in cold caves, evolving to be blind and use electricity as their main mechanism for hunting and defense. They are quite creepy and they are the only monster you fight without music as they don't "see" you. They also are known to prey on smaller animals and usually swallowing them whole with their almost circular mouth. Even in one game, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, you can read the journal of a young woman abour all her experiences, including when she was swallowed alive by of these and resqued later!
