While searching for food, a feline desert nomad unwittingly uncovers a royal tomb hidden beneath the dunes, filled with a fortune's worth of treasure... and in the process, accidentally awakens the haughty mummy who resides within. While the reanimated pharaoh is quite an astonishing find, Jefanh is far too hungry to care for her, instead opting to make her into a nice royal roast...
Mummy gals >:9
This story was pretty much entirely inspired by this lovely picture by VEkdal21, with my usual furry spin, of course~
I decided to use a fantasy equivalent for Egypt in this story, rather than exactly the real thing. I'd say there's more to my motivation to do so, but really, I'd already done waaaaay too much research on ancient Egyptian mummification and burial customs to care to get the utter specifics of ancient Egyptian history right. Which reminds me, the mentions of spices, salts and oils? All are rooted somewhat in fact regarding noble mummification ceremonies. Well, I don't think they used EDIBLE spices in the process, and especially not fucking rosemary and thyme, but... come on, it's funny. :P
Maybe next time, I'll use ACTUAL ancient Egypt for a vore fic. Probably their gods. Those birds look like they need a good nomfing~

Why, thank you! Though I think V. Ekdal deserves some of the credit for inspiring it, lol
Anything in particular you enjoyed?

All I can think about is the ThoughtEmporium video where they mummified a chicken to see if it tasted good (it did not)
