Really depends on how the substance work as
a poison for if it requires entry into the bloodstream are generally safe to eat it's the difference of being poisonous and toxic one requires entry from a wound the other to be ingested.

Akari (my blue ringed girl) is venomous, not poisonous. She injects neurotoxins with a bite, so to my knowledge as long as she doesn’t nibble Sefi’s insides while she’s in there she’ll be fine.
