Muddy's birthday kicked off what was known as "Birthhatchmas" between Muddy and Feather. Muddy's birthday and Feather's hatchday were in mid-December, placing them dangerously close to the Christmas holiday. Muddy gives it a shake like he does every year, which only makes Feather smile even wider at how cute his boyfriend was. Muddy tears off the paper and opens the box. Inside are two t-shirts. The first, in Muddy's size, was a shirt that read "My favorite food is pie" with a small pie icon on it. The second, in Feather's size, was a shirt that read "I'm the pie" with a little magpie icon on it. The magpie was enrobed in pie crust, its head and tail feathers sticking out from either end.
 
Muddy read the two shirts and grinned with delight. "Oh, my two favorite things! Vore jokes and a good magpie pun~ I love this, thank you!" He then tossed the second shirt to Feather's who fumbles the catch. "We have to try them on, yeah?"
