hi everyone, it's been a while! it's uh, the end of the year, and to keep it brief this year's hasn't been great! so i figured, fuck it. i wanna leave it on a high note, so im just gonna fuckin start talking about my comfort character. lmao. hopefully i will have more of my usual drawings coming soon, but i've been playing life by ear for a while. regardless, merry christmas, and happy new year everybody. <3
(and for context, i *literally* dreamt most of this like, maybe 4-5 years ago. my brain invented a generic deviantart pokemon backstory for an absol and it has infected my mind ever since. the more things change the more they stay the same, i suppose, haha. forgive the, uh, Cringe:tm: )

Lu is a mystical, gentle soul. She's spiritual in the sense that she's in touch with the world around her, and the bonds between her and other people can seem borderline magical. With this sense of mysticism, and her towering stature over most people around her, it's hard not to feel as if she isn't of some kind of higher power when interacting with her. Despite this, she always brings a warm, caring energy into any room she steps into. She isn't a part of any big expedition or rescue teams, such as Team Fat Cat or what have you, but she's more than willing to pitch in and support them if their interests align with hers. For her, one of the most important things is that she's the life partner of Biscuit (the Eevee), being one of the biggest beacons of light in his life. Their bond is incredibly strong, and they would do anything for each other. Living comfortably together, she's always there to help him decompress after an anxiety-filled day, with a warm touch and gentle embrace, their souls truly intertwined.

Years ago, Lu was one of many Pokemon captured by a remote underground organization using new technology to corrupt their hearts and turn them into weapons, Shadow Pokemon. ( play pokemon xd gale of darkness :3 ) With the effort of a lone human who had no clue what he was doing, Lu had been freed from said organization. It took many months for her heart to eventually purify, returning to the kind individual she once was, despite being forever marked with her now purple colored eyes. They happily lived together for a long time, owing each other their lives. However, when the trainer seemingly disappeared, Lu did not worry, let alone grieve. With her being spiritually linked to them, as well as an Absol's natural ability to predict and warn against disasters, it must mean that she's confident that, somehow, everything is okay.

...It was not too long after that she had found Biscuit.
