Malcolm hadn't intended to offend Hoshi, he was just too preoccupied to eat her or anyone else's cooking. The armoury officer was working too hard to notice the way that she glared at him for ignoring the udon she'd placed in front of him. The lieutenant didn't realise anything was wrong until he felt her hand slam his head down onto the table, knocking him out. No one in the mess hall seemed to care as the ensign dragged the taller brunette into the galley. When Malcolm woke up, he was stripped of all his clothing and bound inside a large glass pot. He voiced his confusion as an apron-clad Hoshi appeared in front of him with a carrot in hand. The testy translator went on a tirade about how he had disrespected the food she had worked hard on and that she didn't want to serve it anymore. Instead she decided he would be a much better replacement meal, proving her point by licking the armoury officer's face. Malcolm couldn't believe that she was going to cook him all over a misunderstanding. The lieutenant tried to reason with her but the ponytailed brunette shut him up by shoving a carrot up his butt, forcing him to let out a cute yelp. As he was frightened and humiliated about being treated like meat, the ensign poured hot water on him and set the pot on to boil. His aquaphobia started to kick in and he tried to escape but he was tied too tight, he could only sit there whining as Hoshi added various spices to flavour him like he was any other regular meal. The armoury officer deemed food reasoned meekly with her but she only taunted him, grabbing him by the hair to pour the broth on his face while informing him about his new role as her latest dish. Malcolm didn't know how much longer he would last with the heat boiling him into submission. Soon he'd be steadily reduced to nothing but stew meat to be picked apart by his fellow crewmates.

The episode Singularity makes for a lot of good material with everyone acting more aggressive and obsessive because of some radiation. One particular scenario that I thought had good vorish potential was when Hoshi obsessively started cooking the same soup because Malcolm made an offhand comment about it. So what if Hoshi took Malcolm's comment against him and decided to make our very edible armoury officer into her stew for everyone? Or maybe she just keeps him for herself..
