Most preds are ambush predators, at least in vore comics - but in the wild obviously there's multiple forms of predation.
From a ecological standpoint there hasn't been enough time in this world from the introduction of vore to the present day for the effects to be fully realized. That is, the environment itself that people inhabit is still changing, including in the people themselves, and one apparent effect is the surge of avid runners among preds.
In the wild, there are ambush predators trying to isolate their targets through catching them by surprise, and then there are others who hunt prey through chasing them down and catching them. Both tend to cull the prey population of the weaker targets, either mentally, or physically. While humans aren't obligate carnivores, the presence of prey with certain deficiencies will naturally give rise to women who can easily take advantage of these biological mistakes.

I forgot I was on a bit of an ecology kick when I made this one lol. I still think it turned out pretty fun tho lol
The next one is kind of special in that it ended up a lot closer to a full blown comic, albeit very rushed. I kind of want to redo the art for it before posting it to here, but we'll see... Especially since it was one I wanted to continue <.<'

Looking at vore from an ecology angle opens up so many possibilities! Like how would pack hunting work, and if things get desperate would preds look to hunt other preds in desperation or in territorial conflict?

Agreed! Would it actually be beneficial to pack hunt, or would the fact that only one gets the prize make it much more common to try and be strong individual hunters?
If there's a lot of predation, what are the adaptations to said predation? Would prey end up moving away from cities, or condense more for protection?
I usually look at things more from a cultural angle but ecology provides a very interesting perspective

It also brings to question what the specific rules of your setting.
Like, is size literally equal to the experience of the pred?
Could a pred vs pred scenario even occur?
And, are there any preys who are either to big or strong for a pred? (Like how some herbivores IRL could be too dangerous to hunt).
Either way, I'm excited to see what you make next!

She says "or it belongs to me" as if there's an option for that not to be the case. Yet she fully intends on eating this person either way.

Oh yeah, she's not actually giving them a choice XD

Man I would not survive a day in this environment since I would be way to eager to be eaten. Dose make me wonder if there are willing prey in this ecosystem.

You would survive just long enough till you found the perfect place to 'settle' ;3
I'm sure the ones who are willing don't get to advertise themselves for very long, so we just see less of them~ Or at least we see the 'results' of them <3

op preds

Pred ecology is cool and all, but how 'bout pred biology? There's a lot of interesting things to think about, like if preds have a very fast metabolism to prevent severe weight gain, or what the reason is for sharp teeth (often depicted in preds) despite preds not tearing into or chewing their prey.

So much art from you lately, you're really spoiling us!

I've been stockpiling it for a little while hehe
A lot of this was from a weekly series that I was doing on patreon for awhile, I stopped doing it but I don't see a reason to keep it exclusive to that :3
There's a few things I'll be holding onto for a bit longer but only because they're not ready yet, or are spoilers for 'I Wanna Go Home' ;p
(I ended up working backwards quite a lot till I landed on the starting point I have)
