For a long while, I've wanted to write a follow-up to "Three Souls, Now and Forever." Nothing as ambitious as the original project, just something to cap off things off. After all, "Three Souls" was my biggest love letter to Amphibia as a series, and while the project is far from perfect, I can't help but look back on those days writing it fondly. Especially since they brought me closer to Ani21 as a friend.

As such, please welcome "I Trust You." It serves to both explore the fall-out of Marcy's possession by the Core from the series finale, which felt woefully unexplored despite its gravity, as well as Madison as a character. While she began as a one-off OC to feed Marcy in the final chapter of "Three Souls," little more than a joke, Ani21 and I felt there was something there. Who was Madison? What did she mean to Marcy? What more could we do with the character?

This might not be a masterpiece (please read other Amphibia fanfics as well as source material like "Marcy's Journal: A Guide to Amphibia" if you want a genuine, non-kink deep dive into Marcy as a character and her post-season 3 life), but it means something special to me and Ani21. As such, I hope you all enjoy!

Oh, and on a final note! This is the last Amphibia project I plan to create. While there's one or two ideas nestled in my noggin, there's no big drive to write 'em. At least, not at present. Perhaps that'll change once my backlog is complete, but I'm happy to close the book on Amphibia. Time moves on, as well as people, and while I'll always remain a fan of this series, it's time to move onto greener pastures.
