Welcome to the world of Bungry Fugglers. Fugglers are weird little plush monsters with very real-looking human teeth - and not nice-looking teeth, either.
Well, GenCo Labs, a firm with considerable experience with genetic manipulation and cloning, have teamed up with Addo Play, the owners of the Fuggler line, to release real live adult-human-sized Fugglers. These big critters will imprint on a kid, marking him or her as the Bungry Fuggler's owner.
There's just one little problem. Bungry Fugglers have to eat meat. And once one imprints on a kid, the only meat it will eat is... that kid! Fortunately, GenCo Labs uses their cloning technology, and at a rather cheap price, provide weekly clones of the kid to provide filling and tasty meals for the living Fugglers.
Sadly, right now the clones are... not as tasty as the real kids. So the Fugglers would prefer to gobble up the actual owners. Fortunately, the Bungry Fugglers are quite incapable of eating fabric, cloth, and synthetics - so as long as the young owner is dressed, the Bungry Fuggler won't try to eat him or her.
See? What could possibly go wrong?
To start with, we present the script for the original TV commercial advertising the Bungry Fugglers. Tomorrow I should have the first short story about Brody Thomson's experiences with his own living Fuggler.
Enjoy.

Whoops! I forgot to mention: The original concept of monster pets that you feed clones of yourself to wasn't my idea. Drakira had the initial concept, shared it with me, and we batted it around for a bit to iron out the details.
Originally Drakira was thinking of Digimon - but they've been done often before, and I thought this deserved something new in the way of preds. Then we stumbled onto the idea of the Fuggler toys, and making real live versions of them - and thus Bungry Fugglers were born.
Sorry I didn't properly give you credit, Drakira.

No worries, I was just glad I could inspire new ideas.
