"These long-lived serpents can grow to utterly massive sizes, but their growth slows down dramatically when reaching adulthood.
Despite their intimidating appearances they are quite docile around humans.
According to the Amurta Darshan, the longest lived Buriddin Python was 621 years old by the time it was unfortunately caught in the crossfire during of an invasion of the Abyss.
These serpents are also known to have a degree of sapience once they grow older and larger, and some postulate that under the right conditions, they could evolve into something else."
