There, that's the spirit. You've been asleep for quite some time, you know? I can't imagine what drives you to sleep that long.
Maybe you are trying not to be reminded of your position. That you belong to me, Celebi. That you have been trapped in my stomach far beyond the lifespan of any other human being. Far beyond the reach of your tongue, your culture and your very species. Did you already forget you are the last one? It has to be humiliating, knowing you have existed far beyond your original civilization, serving no other purpose to be a belly pet - a plaything to entertain me.
Maybe your unnatural lifespan has messed with your brain and your body. You don't even remember what your mother tongue was, much less how to speak it - and worse still, learnt to comprehend mine, a tongue from something you considered an animal, a creature and little more. You haven't seen the outside world for millions of years, for all the good measures of time do you now, surrounded by flesh, slime and partially digested berries all the while. It's possible your body has grown complacent, as mine holds yours in stasis, removing your ability to age and your requirement to sustain yourself.
Or maybe, against all odds, you have grown comfortable with your punishment. Unending warmth and softness, despite - or perhaps because of - the unsanitary humiliation of your confines. Maybe deep down, you do in fact acknowledge me as your mistress, and anticipate, not dread, the days I acknowledge your presence, treat you as a squirmy lump to fondle and grind on.
Of course, you've known me long enough to know I don't assume, only contemplate. They are merely possibilities - they will have to take their own initiative to prove themselves. No, I woke you up because of one of time's many milestones, arguably the biggest one. Because I know for a fact that despite all this time, you still underestimate my dominance over you. You assume eventually, no matter how long, you will get off lightly for what you did to my forest.
We stand at the precipice of what humans would consider the end of time. All life besides us two died out millenia ago. The light of the last distant stars has faded, their fires burnt out. Every astral body in the cosmos, crumbled into dust. All that remainds is a dark, cold, unending vaccuum, company to nobody but us. We are alone now. And yet...
...
...just give it a moment, you'll know when it happens...
...
...
Ah, yes, there it is. Even from where you are, deep within the depths of my stomach. You see that, don't you? Your kind used to have a word for it. In mine, it is called "The Big Bang". A briliant flash of light that you humans once heralded at the start of all time. And yet, we arrived here from the "end", did we not? A misconception I came here to correct, burdened with your presence for all this time.
"Forever". "Permanent". "Unending". All of these things, in stark contradiction, imply a definite end - whether it be the death of the individual, or the end of the entire cosmos. But time is a circle that loops, over and over, with the slightest of variations each time. There doesn't even exist a word for the length of time I intend to subject this to you, in your tongue OR in mine. Because you and I will not just exist for one Big Bang. We will be together for ALL of them. And when asked what that kind of time means, from creatures who have no true concept of it? Your name will be the reference, for you are the only thing besides me that will exist at every time as a constant, a stupid human who abused my forest and expected to outlive the consequences.
Ah, you do have a point. You WEREN'T the only one, were you? Don't worry, I was getting to that. Yes, the cycles do indeed vary with every iteration, and sometimes it is us Pokemon that inspire the variations. In a way, I suppose you should feel honoured, because for the first time it is a human that inspires one - specifically, you will serve as the inspiration for the new relationship between humans and Pokemon. Humans will spend nearly all of their lifespans inside of a Pokemon's stomach, reduced to belly pets just like yourself. They will no longer have responsibilities, because - as you proved to me all those billions of years ago - humans cannot be trusted with the burdens of leading a civilization anymore.
Now express yourself, stupid human. I don't care whether it is dread or anticipation. Squirm for my pleasure.
...
Mmmmmm... either way, your obedience is satisfying. You need not worry. I will wake you up again in a few million years, when the Earth has formed and the first humans and Pokemon roam it. Your punishment may persist through every Big Bang, but you have my word - it will not be unique forever.
"Society is upended in such a way that humans are considered beneath what are basically animals" is kind of a guilty pleasure of mine, but I've never found an excuse to do an Ongoing Thing(tm) with it. Maybe the brainrot will build back up later to a point that I'll look for one lmao
This speech was very much an experiment with how much one can leave to interpretation and still arrive at a desired conclusion - so in the spirit of that, all I can say is to use your imagination. o3o
