Angered by the insults Kelia prepares to go on a feeding frenzy, but some genuine words and compliments snaps her out of it and is rendered into a flustered mess. Looks like our worker here has (unknowingly) saved himself from certain demise, and is being further rewarded for it.(as if getting to live wasn't a reward in of itself) The same can't be said for the two mean girls.
