Amy and Justin, a mixed-sized couple, celebrate their anniversary at the restaurant where they met for their first date. Both find it difficult to focus on the meal, however, when they remember their plans for the evening, when Justin will explore the one part of his wife's body he hasn't visited yet. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to skip to dessert, so long as no one else is watching?
This is the fourth story in the "Keeping the Spark Alive" series, about a couple finding new ways to keep the spark of romance after one is irreversibly shrunk to only a few inches tall. It can almost certainly be appreciated as a stand-alone story, but you can find the other entries below if you're interested in checking those out first:
- Keeping the Spark Alive
- Keeping Him Close
- In Her Keeping
It's also nearly as long as the first three chapters put together.

Great work as always, worth the wait.

Glad to hear it! The previous chapter in this series came out three years ago, which feels a bit long for a follow-up, but I'm glad it still works. Maybe it helps that it isn't a super complicated overarching plot. :)

Amazing story! I could viscerally feel the yearning to keep him inside and not take him out <3

I am so, so glad to hear that part came out alright. I've been trying to strike the right balance in building up to the big "choice" for the characters coming in a chapter or two. Haven't started part five yet, but I'm looking at something a little more long term for that one.

Wow, I... think this story has improved my mental health. Significantly. You've outdone yourself, and there's no doubt about that. You've managed to beautifully blend the descriptions of both the physical and psychological sides of what the couple goes through. In particular, the psychological end has me very interested. Throughout the entire story, I could feel how their differing sizes affected their thoughts. The way it impacts their balance of power, yet is offset by their vast trust for one another, is magnificent. And another thing that really grasped me was Amy's big decision of whether or not she's willing to go through with the resizing. It's compelling! It leaves me intrigued about what might happen next.
Overall, I think this is one of the most incredible pieces of writing I've ever read, vore or not. I honestly don't think I have any critiques. The only thing I hope for is that Amy and Justin continue to exercise this level of caution going forward. You've made me care about them so much.
But anyway, to conclude, keep on writing! You're doing great. Don't you ever doubt yourself.

Oh wow! This is so amazingly kind, I don't even know what to say! <3
It was good to get back to this series after having this particular chapter sitting half-finished in my writing folder for forever. And it was pleasant to write something more emotionally/psychologically driven by comparison to the comparatively scenario-focused stories I'd been working on alongside the "Keeping" series.
Based on what I have right now, my current plan is to have two more chapters to this series. Ideally, the gap between this one and the next one won't be quite so long.
