Heavy footsteps came into ear shot, the door to the room opening with a whir of vacuum pressure. In stepping a creature Basil had never seen before, he looked alien to the cat. Basil wasn’t sure, he didn’t like most of that crap usually, this alien shit was, well, alien to him.

Two thuds broke through the cat's thoughts as a musky, earthy scent filled his nose. The cat turned around to see two giant feet sitting on the table, looming high above him.
