The young deity could not believe her luck. Fang, the young and beautiful goddess (that would succeed her mother as 'Goddess of the Jungle'), found herself in a very dire situation. It was not uncommon to contend with large, predatory snakes, but this creature was something entirely different. It's appearance was different from the other snakes that Fang encountered and this one was causing her to feel something she had not experienced before.

As it coiled Fang, she struggled in response. Despite her arms being freed, and having a fighting chance, she was not prepared for the real trick that this snake possessed. Once she gazed at the head of the serpent, that was when she felt it. Some hypnotic trance that was making her mind feel blank. Closing her eyes, Fang attempted to look away; onlt for it to be too late. She was falling under the snake's hypnotic influence. Feeling weak, tired and her mind going numb, all Fang could do was lay there helpless, as the snake would soon feast.

Here's a piece involving Fang in her younger days facing off against a Hypnoboa. The hypnoboa, created by https://www.deviantart.com/imaneggplant, is a snake that (you guessed it) hypnotizes its victims.

Sufficed to say, Fang is not having a good day with this one as this is her 'first time' being coiled and hypnotized by this creature....what do you think I meant by 'first time'? ;P
