Ok, so, I've had an art block for a few days, if you hadn't noticed. Also, something someone said awhile back had been bothering me. About how I used to care more, about how I used to seem like I loved drawing more. And how I don't do the same type of work or put as much effort into what I do. I've been thinking on that for awhile, and well, honestly... I don't care as much about my personal work as I used to, and I think... no... I KNOW that it shows. And, maybe this one doesn't show it, but... I really do want to care. I want to try harder to draw what I've always loved drawing, and I'm even in the process of coloring this, AFTER having inked it, both of which, I haven't done or taken seriously since I entered college, I think. In the end, I know it's just a drawing of a stupid snake character that no one but me cares about, but I just want to see if my care comes across or not. Even if it doesn't have the best anatomy or whatever. I erased and redrew the body almost 5 times. The entire body. A few days ago, I would have given up before there were any facial features if the body didn't turn out nicely the first time. Well, anyway, back to my coloring. Enjoy your lamia.
