Mousey panic in the final panel is very well done, as is the fox's expression in "Heh, that's cute".
The writing is improved in this one, too, although I don't think you can onomatopoeise "managed to sit up" ;) It seems to flow better, whereas the last one seemed to be a stream of individual statements in isolation.
The mage is a bit thick, isn't he?
