Hah, thanks, and I think they are. Some snakes take 4-5 days to digest a rabbit, but that's whole. This would be kinda close to chewing, which I think shortens digestion time.
I mean, it's all a guess, but it's probably the closest anyone's gonna get without havin an actual reference.
Amazing Byo, very scientific.
Are the fur, teeth, and bones regurgitated (like in owls) or just pass through undigested? ‘Cause if the remains are not removed from the stomach, it would build up over time and create blockage, wouldn’t it?
Thanks, and things like that would be small enough to pass through. Any sharp points on teeth or bone pieces would most likely be smoothed by the Gizzard, so there isn't much of a chance that they'd catch on anything.
But unnatural things or things that are too big to be digested could get stuck and end up hurtin 'em :I
Hm, I'd like to experience that digestion if only I could survive past the crushing and at least a few cycles of chemical digestion. And not suffocate of course. But this is not the place for such unrealistic expectations. Good job!
This is one of the most awasome things I've ever seen. I love digestion, particularly when prey is going to and fro between different parts of the stomach/digestive tract.

Awesome work as ever, and great for ref's. Are the stomach times accurate though?

you're right, reactions accelerate as pressure, temperature or reation surface increase, and the chwing stuff definetly increases the surface.

Looks like an interesting and complicated procedure. Nicely drawn and all. I like the way you manage to show a moving process with pictures.

That's a pretty horribly gruesome undeserving death. x.x

What would a adult priason be able to swallow? Or is there a adult version of this on its way? :)
Posted by oul 13 years ago Report
Maybe a small lamb? Oh, and great work :)

Uhh...'slightly' realistic? that was more than 'slightly' sweetie.
But very nice nonetheless!

That was.... kinda... hot. *shivers* It makes me feel so wrong for stating that. But it is hot. Next time a human. >3

Thansk, I don't mind if you use it as a reference
Posted by deletedaccount505 13 years ago Report
Will you be doing one with a human swallowing another human, same size whole and alive?
Posted by Byoki-desu 13 years ago Report
Naah, I only did this because it'd be possible for the species

Woah! This is impressive! D:
