Blair is a sexy thang, so as to sexify your art moreso, here's some pointers.
- for her purrfectly plump body, her thighs look rather skinny-like. I would suggest giving her more sexy fat right were it connects the pelvis.
- another thing is her ass(which might also help out with the legs). To give her the right juiciness to her figure, you want to make the preliminary sketches with circles, not ovals. If I follow the lines of her ass cheeks, her skin shows some nasty ovals whereas circles should be present. Once you draw circles for the cheeks, you trace around them and smooth out the body form without losing the shape.
-what I'm seeing here is it looks like the muscle nearer her knees is fatter than the muscle closer to her central body. Just a shift in slopes would fix this.
- also remember, fat and skin do clump and buldge at bent joints, but not to that extent as to take away from other areas.
- one last thing, is her pelvic bone present on her inner thigh needs to be angled to the right about 15 degrees
Other than that, the rest is seemingly okay for the gradual increase of natural talent!

I do need to work on my proportions and getting a better understanding of skeletal and muscle structure.

I was thinking of using myself as a model to get the right curves and such though some of the angles would be quite difficult to capture. >.<

Not at all, I enjoy helping pele like yourself out that ACTUALLY want to learn how to get better.
And if your going to use yourself to model, that would probably be best, because then you have a model that can move around however you need(excluding acrobatic fucking pirouettes and ultra bendy stretching). You should draw a bunch of poses from personal photos, and, of course, follow up with some postings of these~!
