Its as finished as it can get. Sure I could do more but I feel its good enough (may have gone a bit overboard with the mud on the worms lol).
Since I suck at doing backgrounds, I took another approach. Found a forest photo online, and used photoshop to give it a more "painted" look.
I have already sent the pic (very high rez version) to Shax. Hope he likes ^_^

Don't know how long I spent searching for a background that would look right lol. Not to mention blending it in as close as i can (even a slight reflection in the muddy water)
I'm gonna keep posting progression pics for now on, helps fill up my galler, and shows signs that I havent dissapeared again lol.

Considering you'd already drawn the positioning...yeah. I can imagine a background would be difficult to find that matches it.

I do not like that background at all, and if I had not seen what this was supposed to be before now, it would be difficult for me to make it out. The colors and styles clash so badly, in my opinion.
The foreground though, I love, though I wish it was still large. So small now (my poor eyesight makes me biased over visual things of a small nature)

Since I can't speak for the first part, I'll just say the zoom in would be nice. But it is your artwork, not mine. This is all just my lonesome opinion, do as you feel is best.

After you (and even Shax) mentioned the the bit on the background clashing and the action to small, I took another look at it and agreed. Thank you photoshop layers lol.

This is a really nice drawing. I like how the worms tongens are some what transparent, so you can see the girls face through it. Nice work.
