It took me a while to get the rug looking right. The wall was a real pain too. I don't tend to do backgrounds all that often so they are difficult for me. XD

Ah, same here. But the molding on the wall looks just right as it's raised from the corner. The texture of the wall is really fun too, and I notice you didn't use outlines.
The background is very nicely done, whether or not you do them often.
