Augh, I'm jealous! He seems like the kind of character who would be absolutely stupid fun to interact with in a roleplay... he's so hilarious and entertaining in all the most morbid ways. And also I maybe really like him a lot, which might explain why I drew this. (Panfandom journal roleplay, though-- that's something I have some pretty fond memories of, now that you mention it!)

And thank you! I wanted to try and capture that sort of creepily-placid smile he's constantly wearing. It pleases me perhaps a bit too much to think about him grinning like that while doing horrible, awful things to people... >v>;;

Samantha *haaaated* him. She was trying to keep her demonic side under control by getting tied up just in case from time to time, and he beat up her boyfriend and let her loose so he could watch her kill. God, she never forgave him for that one. And you are right. Played right, he is entertaining in such morbid ways. (Heh, you play them too?)

Yeah, that is exactly how I imagine him while he does the most horrible things to people.

Ahahahah, it sounds like the person playing him probably had a lot of fun with it, too... not to mention that seems very believable for the kind of guy he is. >v>;

I used to play on LJ and later Dreamwidth in a few panfandom games as a handful of fancharacters I liked. I haven't played in a while, though, but it was a very enjoyable experience and I'd consider doing it again if I could just hold onto the motivation to play a character for more than a couple months... :T

Ahhh, heh, you were on Dreamwidth too? Cool. I missed the LJ days with journal RP, and from what I've heard, I have a bit to be grateful there, format-wise. DW does a better job. Samantha's present in Asgard Eventide, which is set to finish its storyline in the next couple months. I'll need to find a new home for her, as the urge to play her over there hasn't quite faded yet. Still, she's easy for me to default into as voices go. Too many years playing her.

Asgard was and is a good game, in my view. It's suffered a little in its waning hours, as two of the three mods of the second team have needed to pull away from RP for personal burnout issues. The remaining mod is keeping up as best she can to close it out well, and the story is basically already set down for the last two months, so all she has to do is post it up. Overall, it's been a good adventure/plot-centric group that's faded a little in the last year. Very war/apocalypse themed.

The other I'm in is Amat Omnes, one of the old beasts of the LJ era and I believe one of the earliest sex-games. A good game, though after the nearly 6-7 years, it has shown its age. It's smaller now (about 100 characters in all), and cliquishness is becoming a bit more of an issue. But, if you like a forced-sex, slightly creepy little slice of life game, there you go. *smirks*

And, what can I say? I'm an enabler. (You might look at Haven. That little horror spot might be right up your alley, if I remember correctly from peoples' descriptions.)

I was in Amatomnes for a little while a few years back! I left, however, upon realizing that I really can't write sexual content as a dominant character without feeling super awkward. I liked the place fairly well while I was there, though.

My favorite that I've been in was Discedo back on LJ, which was a rather grim post-apocalyptic setting with what I recall to be a lot of good players. It shut down some time after I left, though, so I never got to go back. I was also in Paradisa on DW for a few months a year or so ago with one of my friends; the players were really cool, though the setting didn't do a whole lot for me except in the case of events where things got shaken up.

And I would love the idea of a horror campaign, eheheh... I just wouldn't be sure what character to bring into it. I don't think I could play Ceru in a multifandom game without people thinking she's a Mary-Sue/Self-Insert/whatever. :<

Oooh, you were? If you were in there within the last three years, we might have run into each other. I played (and still play) Chloe from Noir as my main there. And, I understand the issue with writing smut. Handwaving's fine there, but I knew a few people who felt uncomfortable doing that in a sex game and who didn't like writing smut as a rule.

*nods* Yeah, Haven is the sort that's up your alley, I think.

Oh boy. Oddly enough, Mary-Sue/Self-Insert isn't an accusation I get with Samantha. Overly complicated world, creepy (She was in a relationship with one of the trolls from homestuck. Oh god did that get awkward OOCly with a few people.) and a few other things were accusations, but not self-insert. However that is one of the more common accusations with OCs when wank occurs. *rolls eyes* I've learned to pay very limited attention to that sort of rubbish. it's only rarely worth hearing out.

I think it was more than three years ago, actually... and even if it wasn't, I was only there for like a month. I played Alexei from Tales of Vesperia. \o/

I'll look into Haven a little! It'd also be more fun to join a game if I knew you were in it-- it's easier if you have a friend there. I don't know if you're in that game, but since you said your current game is closing soon, maybe we could both join if you aren't in it already? (If not that's okay too, I'm interested regardless.) I just... have to figure out who I'd play. Even if they allow OCs, since Ceru IS kind of a self-insert (her personality is very different than mine so she's definitely her own character, but her name and my screen name are the same and her origins lie in being a self-insert, even if times have changed and I'd personally argue that she isn't a Sue), I probably wouldn't use her, so I'd need to pick a fancharacter that I can stick with consistently for a long time. Which is hard for me. :T

I'm fairly easily pulled in by good games, but it's been a long time since one totally engrossed me as much as this one has. I can't say that I really think it's a bad thing, considering how happy the game has made me, but... it hasn't exactly been kind to my sleep schedule or free time. ;v;

Huh? What? There aren't any children involved in this picture. ;v; Now I'm confused, too... the POV is from the perspective of the "avatar" character from the game (you can see a little of her outfit), she's just been made small.

And yeah, actually, that's a pretty good way to describe him. The psycho part, at least, for sure.

Also, I hope this doesn't come off the wrong way, but I've noticed that you have commented on multiple images of mine saying that you don't like something or other about them, and I personally find it a bit unnecessary? Even though you phrase these things kindly, if you don't agree with my interpretations or some of the content I create, I don't see why you feel the need to state that to me unless you want to offer criticism or debate something that you legitimately think I am doing wrong. I appreciate that you like my art regardless and that you do leave compliments, but hearing somebody say they don't like this or that about my work just for the sake of saying it... makes me feel kinda crummy. Sorry. :<

You don't need to apologize for that-- it's a legitimate gripe that some people have with my art, and I realize it. I have always drawn small, both in real life on paper and on the computer; it's just what I'm comfortable with. However, I see with this image that, since it's a fairly light-colored sketch, the small resolution makes it difficult to make out. I'll try to make my sketches darker in the future, even if I can't promise that they'll be much bigger in resolution. :>

I hooked them up in one of my files, actually! They made too awesome of a pair for me not to. I love both of them and always use them in battle (which isn't exactly hindered by how much ass they both kick) because they're just so entertaining in all the best ways.

I'm pleased that you like him that much, too. Ever since I saw that there was a character with his disposition towards... horrible violent things in the game that you could MARRY, I pretty much already knew who I was going to pick. And I was totally right. @v@;
