This one's a tad bit unusual for me in that, typically, I don't do fan characters when it comes to writing. I'm incredibly picky about accurate portrayal of them and I tend to prefer for them to be in situations that make sense. So, the fact I did them in this commission is sort of a "just this once" kinda thing. It helps Pokemon characters in the games don't have a lot of character development, so there's a lot of leeway to work in without contradicting their official behavior.
Either way, despite my tendency not to use them, I still had a good amount of fun writing this story up, bicep tendon pull or not in the mean time. Besides, it features two of my favorite Pokemon predator species, so what's not to love?
Anyway, hope you guys enjoy reading this one!

Arcanine and luxray are probably my favorite poke-preds too, very well done story

Thanks, glad to hear you enjoyed it!
And, indeed they are. Good thing they appear to be popular picks too, so it's not hard to find art and stories with them.

I appreciate how you did the personality dynamics, and gave detail about how the scenario was set up.

I'm glad to hear that since I did spend a bit of time thinking and planning about both. Especially the latter, where I did a fair amount of thinking about the rest of the world to determine how this scenario would logically come about. I felt, even if I didn't include everything I came up with in the actual story, figuring it all out would make the events and character behaviors seem plausible for the setting rather than purely plot demands.
Anyway, thanks for reading!
