Another recent commission, this time for Veeshan, fan of all things silky, sticky and spidery!

Veesh asked me to doodle up "a naked woman being cocooned by a spider." That's a bit of a broad pool to play in, so over the course of a couple emails, we narrowed it down to Samus being wrapped up by a creepy, crawly space monster.

While working out the design, I realized that it really wouldn't take much to turn the Gamma Metroid design from Metroid II: Return of Samus into a passable spider, and all the remaining pieces just sorta fell into place!

I also decided that, though the Zero Suit is currently the last word in sexy Samus spacewear, the black bikini under-armor she wears in Super Metroid really needed more love :D.
