This is the group shot for the Assassins Feed participants.

Welcome to the introduction image for the collaborative project between Cainiam , Voltwrecker and Dudey64 !
Equestria is beset by a plague of assassins and contract killers, and Celestia has made it the job of Shining Armour and the Royal Guard to clean it all up as part of Operation: Assassin’s Feed. To that end each week he will be issuing a contract for one of the deadly assassins to target another, letting them solve the problem for Equestria themselves for just the price of a relatively small sum of bits.

Rather than take the choice purely into his own hooves however, Shining has decided to let the guard members who work in HQ to vote for themselves, and that is where you will come in as the reader. Simply vote which of the deadly assassin’s introduced in the intros here: and here: will be facing off against one another next week.

For reference, be sure to check out the carefully prepared dossiers on each character… although note that Captain Shining Armor will not be participating as a target, he’s hardly going to order a hit on himself... They can be found here:
Now to explain how this all works: Each week an image will go up and you will have a voting window of a length mentioned in the description of each to put your vote in as a comment. All you have to do is choose which two assassins you want to duke it out. Each voter will get to vote for two assassins. This popularity contest will decide the matchup for the week’s showdown, but will have NO bearing on who actually wins the fight. The most voted for assassin will be the attacker, and the second most voted will be the defender. The winner will be decided purely by chance… a coin toss. Heads the attacker wins. Tails the defender wins. The loser will be eliminated.

With that in mind pick fights you want to see, that you will find interesting. Voting your favourite character might just have them eliminated in the first round~ Above all, have fun! And feedback is definitely appreciated!

Well, voting is here, then? I know what I want to have out of the way:
Rainbow Dash and Gilda. Better have them starting off now than end up with complete strangers and never face off - there's so many interesting chances for storytelling between characters than know eachother, and it would be a shame if we never get to see that because others were voted for.

Voting is here for round 1 indeed. As the characters with the most history it's definitely an easy choice to make. This is the spurned Gilda timeline so I imagine there's a lot of anger there, heh.

Awesome stuff! ^^ (I find it particularly amusing how many of them have their rumps as a lure. :P)

As for the vote... Hard pick. Gotta say I'm personally going to match canon characters with canon characters, and OC's with OC's. First ones that come up are Rainbow Dash vs. Gilda, then Spitfire vs. Starlight. I'll stick with the former of the two as my start, though. ^^; Have fun with this, anyways! :D

Fair enough to section off OCs but I do encourage mixing them together, it may seem less appealing without the history but the point here is to play off personalities. Not going to count secondary choices now, but hold onto that for next week. We definitely will have fun, as you spotted butts is a very common theme between the three of us, heh.

Ooooh! I'd like to make a recommendation for Cane Crecca vs. Starlight Glimmer, they seem a perfect match for one another, both being kind of haughty magic-users, heh. (Bet's on Glimglam tho)

And I if I could make another for later? Dusk vs. Spitfire also seems like a good matchup. Both very speedy and agile, would be one heck of a fight.
