If you want her to meet Charlie there then that's exactly what happens. A stressed out high schooler DOES have difficulty remaining loyal after all. The specifics of the ending here are totally up for the reader to decide.

By the by. It'll be revealed in a future story (Later this month, Halloween special) that Hanako was a soul bound somewhere on her body too. Her older sister to be exact. Where do you suppose she ended up? Souls don't just disappear. (unless that's the ending you want in which case they do)
