Keep at it! I'm pretty sure getting good at art is really just about two things:
1. finding the style that works for you
2. enjoying it enough to actually practice! :P
Your lineart is solid, and the form comes through quite well. I would say your shading (my Achilles' heel in art!) could use more practice. Actually, I think this piece would look amazing in black and white. Your lines are solid and stylish enough to carry it on their own. They're bold and just a bit messy (in a good way!)
