Merlin magically granted Arturia a dick so she could impregnate someone, therefore technically being her 'father'. Also Arturia had to masquerade as a man for a while, so it makes sense to continue the charade even with family.
Yes, this is all official fate canon.

Artoria and Mordred are both female in Fate canon, but they call each other "father" and "son". You just kind of get used to it when reading their in-game interactions.

I know they're both originally males, but, it just feels SO WEIRD calling them "male" in any form. What, with them being female and all... I'm sticking to Mother/Daughter. Anyway, I really loved your latest batch of pics. My favorites are this one and the one with Minamoto-mama. <3

If I could make a request, how about a pic with either, Carmilla actingl like a sort of mother or big sister her younger aspect, Elizabeth Bathory? Or Kiara being a mother to either, her master, or the hole world/universe, by taking the chosen target into her womb?

Hmm... Maybe in the future. See, I live in Brazil, thus I go by the Real. Currently, 1 dollar equals roughly 3,70 reales. Thus, when the value is converted, it becomes nearly 4X it's original value. Maybe when the difference is smaller.

I like the cannon stuff, it's different so I just stick with Father/Son, as that's what they choose to be.

I see. Makes sense. But, I think that the reason they call themselves male is not because they like it or something like that. Rather, I think it was a thing of their time. Females, back in their time, amounted from little to nothing in the view of males. Thus, Artoria could only be the ruler if she discarded her identity as a woman. Mordred always idolised Artoria and wanted to be just like her until the end, when she betrayed Artoria, thus, since her "father" discarded her fminility, so would she. And that's not even mentioning that only males could become Knights.

Please don't misunderstand. I'm not critisizing you or your opinion. Like I said, your point makes sense, and you're free to express it and to go by it. I was just explaining my own POV. Anyway, I really do hope to see more from your art. Toodles!
