"This was the moment I realized how doomed I truly was. Below me, a grumbling, hungry stomach awaited my supple body's nutrients. Around me, walls of warm, slippery flesh. Ahead of me, a dripping, salivating exit I could never reach. There's no escape. Only way for me to go is down...
I took my last look at daylight... and relaxed."

I tried a kind of speed-drawing approach. There are a few small details I'd have wanted to refine or experiment with more, but I feel this more rushed approach has its own appeal :D
This drawing didn't take very long to do, I'd say about three hours from constructions to completion. This helped me learn a few things, namely what I'd like to continue doing, and what I'll try differently next time. For instance, I'll be more careful of softening the shadows too much. Some hard edges on the shading might have given better depth. Same goes for some of the shine effects, too much softening can quickly spoil the intended wet, reflective effect.
Hope you like it!

The way she's looking out there, it's cute, a little sad and it makes you just want to push her a tiny bit to fall in.

The little story and the drawing itself is inarguably one of the beautiful things I've seen on this website. ❤️❤️❤️
