It may surprise some people to learn that Mexico does indeed have states. And it certainly surprised me that there's a state by the name of México within the country of Mexico (I've read "Mexico" one too many times and it looks/sounds funny now): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_states_of_Mexico
